Message from the Editor Hello Key Clubbers! I am happy to announce this to be the ever first newsletter of Millennium Key Club! This being the first of many monthly newsletters to come, I hope you all please give your loving support to not only the growth of the newsletters but to our altruistic community throughout the year. That being said, October was when we officially kicked things off and pushing into the events in November, this would be a special newsletter to document the events in both months. Thank you for your interest! Sincerely, Valerie WongÂ
My name is Vicki Xiao and I am the president of Millennium High School's Key Club. I am currently a Junior and I enjoy helping out our community and meeting new people. I also love to dance, take photos, do art projects, and watch movies. I want to bring more spirit into Millennium, so that was why I started this club. I thought that Key Club was a great way for Millennium students to be more exposed to different opportunities of helping out the community, while making new friends besides the ones they have at school. Ever since I started getting to meet new people from Key Club, I learned a lot more about myself, as well as problems happening in the world. I'm really glad that we were able to start one even though we are not currently official. I hope for the best in our club!Â

FALL RALLY "Hey, Key Club, how do you feel? 'We feel good, oh we feel so good, uh!" chanted in masses of people in business attire. On the freezing Saturday morning of November 11th, 2017, little did many of the attendees knew how lively the rally would be, certainly, I was one of those attendees. The morning started going to the cafeteria and walking down the long halls of Stuyvesant, one would feel out of place, yet those feelings of isolation would soon dimish. This was the first fall rally I've been, and dining to rainbow bagels and playing Kahoot was quite enjoyable. This soon followed by a short speech from seven lieutenant governors and going to the first workshop of the day. The day soon followed by a gathering of all the members playing activities to build similarities and potential friendships. At one point, you'd have to compete against everyone else to get the most amount of selfies. Something I have taken from this experience was definitely the workshop experience. Great presenters for the three workshop I've been to. Lot's of informative advice to use for not only the future of Key club but to your one's own future as well.
-Valerie Wong
All the members gathered to play Soulmate and find a person with the most common interests shared with the player during Fall Rally.
