Holiday Hoopla! I hope everyone stays warm this cold season! While I could have just stayed at home on Saturday, Dec 9th, the first snowfall of this year's winter, I went out and really underestimated how hard the snow was falling. My jacket was all wet and I was freezing but despite that, my friends and I still went out to do community service in Brooklyn, Bedstuy. Lots of people from other schools came too, such as Bronx Science. During this event, there were set up booths as activity centers for the people who came. My friends and I were helping the Kwanza booth where we helped the children who came get involved with arts and crafts. Many ranging from ages of five to eight, happily enjoyed making necklaces out of pasta. It was a fun event despite the weather. At one point, we ended up playing volleyball with the children incorporating the balloons. Here you can see a picture of my friend who made a pretty cool pasta ornament.  -Valerie Wong

Setting Up for First Candy Gram and Upcoming Bake Sale Monthly recap of December With a grand success of raising more than a hundred dollars alone just on our first candy gram, we have really outdone it Key Clubbers! Yet, we have to keep this pace going headstrong, and hopefully, our bake sale would raise equal, if not, more money than our candy-gram! We are almost near reaching our end goal of raising enough money to get chartered, we shall not let our efforts go to waste. May the future lead us to where our club will head next. -Valerie Wong

Fundraising While Having Fun During the end of winter break, things get a little boring, the year fades away along with the festive atmosphere of the holidays. Dreading that thought about going back to school yet procrastinating on that homework assignment by playing 8 ball pool is what you're probably going to end up doing. Why bother wasting your time lazing around at home when you can spend the last bits of 2017 by socializing and meeting new faces from Stuyvesant High School. Show off your skills at pool or just come by! Participants will be involved in a tournament with prizes to win! Who knows, you might be a lucky winner? https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfAJbCpjJDT335lQNtD4eWbCdoWna-8iCI_1qD8pC_FLQQyg/viewform
