Dear Esteemed Patrons, We are so honored you are joining us for the seventh season of the Miami Classical Music Festival and joining us for our very first cruise Musical Extravaganza. Both Olga Melin and Olga Figueras have dedicated their time and heart to host this event for many years and we were ecstatic that they asked the Miami Classical Music Festival to continue this tradition with you. The Miami Classical Music Festival brings more than 300 young artists to Miami Beach from over 25 countries for nine weeks of study and performance experiences each summer. In six seasons, MCMF has established itself as one of the fastest-growing and most important classical music festivals in the country, presenting 70+ public events each summer, including fully-staged operas, symphonic concerts, chamber music recitals, and master classes where highly talented young artists are front and center. MCMF’s Wagner Institute is one of the most unique aspects of the Festival, alongside more traditional Instructional programs focused on areas of classical musicianship such as Opera, Broadway and Zarzuela, Orchestral Performance, Conducting, Piano, and Music Business. We had a fantastic time planning and developing the musical programming of this cruise to give you the very best representation of our talented young artists and organization. The artists who are joining us include guest artists and the very best of our alumni who are returning for this special event. In addition to our performances, we are all very excited to be spending this time with you and to create new lasting friendships. We hope that you enjoy your time with us, and we all have a lot of fun together this week. Sincerely, Michael Rossi Artistic Director and Founder Miami Classical Music Festival
