Regardless of credit obtained during the summer, MCDS students are expected to maintain five core courses per semester during the regular academic year.
In observance of Independence Day, there will be no school on Friday, July 4th.
Students should check in at the Camp Office before heading to class unless instructed otherwise by their summer faculty instructor. Parking is available for students in the North Parking Lot. Completion and full payment of the credit course must be submitted before requesting an MCDS transcript from the school registrar.

Summer Studies courses may be cancelled due to severe weather. Visit the Summer Programs website and Miami Country Day School website for announcements concerning cancellations.
Students are expected to behave and dress in a manner that will not disrupt the learning environment. Failure to do so, may lead to dismissal from the course or denial of academic credit. Students must be on time. If they arrive late, they must check in at the summer camp office before heading to class.
There are no refunds on Summer Studies courses, unless there is insufficient enrollment or an emergency with the student. Refund requests must be submitted in writing, and will be considered at the discretion of the Summer Studies Director.
