RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees of Miami Country Day School, in grateful appreciation and recognition of the dedicated leadership, service, and financial support of the Garner Family, hereby names the south campus of Miami Country Day School: “THE GARNER CAMPUS" January 23, 2014

"Miami Country Day School has always been characterized by a spirit of aspiration, a desire among every member of our community to do more and be more. Never has this spirit been more evident than over the many years that the Garner family has provided leadership and financial support to our school. It’s fitting that a campus the Garners envisioned be named in recognition of the enormous contributions they have made." Gary Butts, Chief Operating Officer

"Being a member of the Garner family, I feel proud seeing the school honor the Garner Foundation in such a meaningful and handsome way." Meg Garner Wright

"The Garners have traveled with the school down ever-shifting paths, saving it, shaping it, growing it, and spreading its light. Every lesson learned, every meal shared, every game won or lost, every discovery, joy or song, and every beginning on this campus owes some of itself to the Garners. This pioneer family gave the school its roots and its wings, and we honor them by also giving back, doing whatever we can, knowing that our gifts, talents, and blessings, when shared, can be life-changing." Chris Bellows, President of the Board of Trustees
