our vision our mission Provide Meals and More this Fall! Dear Friend, Our combined Centers in Miami, Hollywood and Pompano Beach have been serving the homeless and needy since 1922. That’s 96 years of helping people and seeing changed lives! Many in our communities think that we primarily provide shelters for the homeless. Your support provides so much more. Each Center has comprehensive programs to empower people to become successful in life. We’re passionate about helping people break the cycle of poverty and homelessness resulting in a brighter and happier future. As the new school year begins, many of our adult residents will be attending classes. Your support provides education, job training, housing, and MORE to over 1,300 men, women, and children every day. We expect to serve over 250,000 meals this fall. Help us with our annual “Pack the Pantry” campaign by giving financially or having a food drive. Hope often starts with a meal for so many hurting people. We simply could not do what we do without YOU! Send in your gift today and help someone in great need! All God’s best to you and your loved ones.

Mad Hatters Charity Dinner
On Saturday, May 19th, 2018 the Cover Girls of Miami-Dade hosted “The Mad Hatters Charity Dinner”. 130 people were in attendance and the dinner was a great success. We were truly blessed to be supported by so many people to benefit women and children fleeing domestic violence and homelessness. TV Show Host and Radio personality, Jenny Patrizia was the Master of Ceremonies. Also joining us as the special Guest Speaker was Author and inspirational speaker, Ms. Georgia Bryce. She delivered a powerful and passionate message of transformation. The meal and desserts were simply delicious. The Great Rondini and Danny H (magicians) entertained and amazed everyone. They added to the magical atmosphere of the evening. Much needed funds and awareness were raised during this event. Find out how you can be a mentor and join Cover Girls, visit:

Patrice - “I’m so thankful!”
M
y mom was on drugs, so she struggled with raising 11 children. I came to Miami, in hopes of finding a better life for my daughter and myself. I ended up homeless; I slept outside by the bench of a bus station with my daughter. It was hard; I was thinking we were going to be out there on the street, but God thinks different. Some people came up to me and said: “We want you to get some rest; we are going to give you one of our rooms so you and your daughter can sleep tonight”. I really wanted to get some rest. These people were my angels. The next morning they told me they found a place for us to go. That’s how we ended up at the Caring Place Center. I did not have to pay for anything. I thank God for the Center and for being here for me and my daughter. The staff is like a family to me and has been so kind and helpful. I want to thank everyone and especially the volunteers. Today, I’m a graduate and have a bright future for me and my daughter.
