Your story matters. You matter. A safe space for healing, growth, and transformation. Rooted in care.
Uncover your roots. Discover healing.
Your voice should be heard, let us listen. Feels like home. Be deeply known and truly loved.
The Symbol Representing Your Business.
The primary logo for the brands is a simple line based square icon resting upon bold typography written in the typeface Quasimoda.
The design of this logo is centered around the concept of human stories and the depth they hold. It is a square logo that features overlapping lines, which serve to symbolize the many layers and complexities of these stories. The root-like lines run down the design to suggest the digging into the past, and up the design to showcase growth into the future.
The typography used in this design is modern and clean, making the logo feel welcoming and approachable. Overall, this logo is an effective representation of the idea that human stories are deep and multifaceted, and that exploring them can help us to grow and become better versions of ourselves.
When unable to use the primary logo, the alternative is to use the emblem alone. The emblem works great as a symbol of the business in areas where people will already be familiar with the brand (ex. stamps on gift wrappings or social media profiles).
Emblems should not be used on any items that are attracting new customers such as signage.
When unable to use the primary logo or emblem, the logo type is an option with only letters to communicate who your business is. This works well on professional documents where a symbol may not be usable.
When placing the logo on any materials, it is vital to give the design room to breathe. Always allow for a border that is 50% of the logo’s width.
Do not change the colors of the logo.
Do not add a drop shadow to the logo.
Do not rearrange the order of the logo form.
Do not place the logo on a patterned background.
Do not lower the opacity of the logo.
Do not cut or distort the logo.

Quasimoda combines geometric forms with classical proportions. The lighter weights give off a fresh, modern feel, the middle weights provide excellent readability for longer texts, while the boldest weights demand attention in a modern way. Overall, Quasimoda is a versatile san serif family.
Quasimoda is the primary typeface for the brand. It should be used for all headers, subheaders, and body text on all materials.
Trirong Light is a serif typeface with thick and think strokes. The style of Trilong is elegant and light- making it a great contrast to the geometric style of Quasimoda.
Trirong Light is to be used very rarely and primarily in italic. When used, it is only an accent typeface and can call out specific quotes in a large body of text or special headings.
Your header font will be used for large messaging and headings. It’s purpose is to clearly communicate the main message.

Below are a series of tips to follow that ensure Roots Therapy designs remain on brand and modern.
Text should be left aligned as much as possible. Center alignment works if left align is not doable in a situation. Text looks best if put in the top and bottom corners of pages.
Tracking is the space between letters. Roots Therapy uses high tracking (up to 100em) for all titles.
Medium sized lines can be used to separate areas of text. This should be done minimally and the line weight should be consistent across the whole design.
Layouts should never be cluttered. Incorporate space between sections to create breathing room.

It is encouraged to incorporate additional design elements into marketing materials. These elements must be consistent, cohesive, and clean.
+ White/Tan lines
+ Modern Custom Icons
+ Patterns Built From Icons
+ Line Patterns
These elements should never fully cover photos. They can wrap over or through images as long as they do not cover the subject’s face.
Icons are a unique approach to representing services offered at Roots Therapy. These icons are based off the design of the logo. More icons can be added to this set as Roots Therapy grows as long as they follow the following rules: they have the same line weight, 7 vertical lines as a base in the design, and are contained in a square shape.
