Editor’s note
“Welcoming Innovation with 2019” We wish our readers a very happy and prosperous New Year 2019
MICE Industry across all verticals is growing at an honest pace. The demand for MICE products and service is increasing with each passing day. On the other hand, MICE planners are leaving no stone unturned to take their MICE project to the next level. Innovation plays a vital role in MICE projects, as creating experience is the key motto behind each project. Keeping in mind the same, we have started a new initiative i.e. to invite key innovations implemented for various MICE projects. This is applicable to all MICE planners across the world and from all attainable domains. The idea is to recognize such efforts and highlight the creative thinking that successively shall facilitate to raise the bar for all MICE players. This would be a regular practice going forward. Another initiative we have taken is PMD 2019 i.e. Pocket MICE Directory. PMD 2019 will be a comprehensive database of MICE players including Travel Companies, DMC, Hotels, and other relevant agencies. We have worked out this mechanism to provide a handy database of key MICE players for Corporate, Associations, Travel agents and other MICE planners. We hope to make it a ready reckoner for companies planning a MICE project, on the other, this shall work as a tool to generate genuine leads. We have also come across various burning issues related to MICE Industry, one of them being the credit payments to the corporate, as well as the burden flowing on to suppliers like DMC and other service providers. So, we have tried a bit to cover some views on the same subject. Going forward we are coming up with a networking platform for MICE fraternity. It shall be announced soon. Under this event, we shall be creating super networking opportunities for MICE players including travel companies, DMC, Hoteliers, and Venue Owners. We always hear statements like “Giving it back to the Society”. We are a strong follower of the same. Working on the same lines, our team had organized an interaction session with tourism students planning a career in MICE industry. It’s an amazing feeling to answer students with variety of question in and around the MICE industry. The current issue carries various articles which have buzzed the market recently. From various road shows to conference, networking sessions followed by award and recognition. We always welcome your views and suggestions. You can send email on Sachin@miceaffairs.com

“MICE BUSINESS- Credit Payments A Scourge or Success Mantra“
Mr. Rajesh Raghavan
(Chief Experience Officer) Pinwheel Travel n Experience Pvt Ltd.
The MICE market refers to a specialized niche of group tourism dedicated to planning, booking, and facilitating conferences, seminars, and other events, which is a big moneymaker in the travel industry. Credit facilities in travel are not exactly Credit. We would call it deferred payments. We make most of the payments for the services utilized in full by end of utilizing the services which are delivered to the end customer. In this entire scheme of things the cycle of credit doesn’t work at both ends, Corporate expect a credit of 30-60days from travel companies and in return these travel companies pay in full to Hotel or other service providers. Credit Payments for MICE companies looks like a success mantra for big league and young companies initially but the same mantra takes the heavy toll on lot of companies gradually resulting in shutting their MICE division or moving out of this entire game of credit. So ideally if this mantra used in controlled manner will make the MICE company stay in game.
MICE is shaping to the size of Elephant now in India as far as volumes are concerned yet the profits are yet like mice. Like other fast developing economies, Indian corporates too are spending satisfactory budgets in this area yet because of impeccably focused market situation they are having such a large number of MICE travel companies, which are readily available . The economists argued that perfect competition would produce the best possible outcomes for consumers, and society. I am certain that this society does exclude MICE players and DMCs like us. Corporates are making the best use of situation and exercising aggressive bargaining, while dealing with MICE players and in the long run it influences DMCs too. Moreover they expect credits likewise which can extend between 10-30%. Such vulnerable circumstances constrain MICE players to pass the weights to DMCs as well. DMCs being the last player of the inventory network are left with nothing. Operational perfection, moral practices and timely collection of payments are few acts which are key for survival of the DMCs which control under half of the aggregate MICE costs
Mr. Vishal Khurana
Head MICE- NAMHO DMC
A company’s credit policy can determine its business volumes, cash flow and subsequently impact success. However, not having one does not mean the converse - just as TIBRO, formed by a team of experts possessing over 3 decades of experience in Trade Fair , MICE ( Incentive) tours and Luxury Holidays have proven. Mr Dhawal - Director Sales & Marketing – MICE & Holidays (TIBRO Tours) says “Many enterprises who offer credit for competitive advantage factor the interest into their final cost. Volatile exchange rates, withdrawal of credit by airlines and hotels and falling margins due to competition, deter us from extending liberal credit. Upfront payments only help us negotiate better deals from our vendors for the benefit of our valued customers. We afford Ratio credit to corporates contracting bulk business with us for say, a year. Mr Dhawal Bhute
Director Sales & Marketing – MICE & Holidays, TIBRO Tours Pvt. Ltd.
In today’s MICE scenario as far as Indian market is concerned, the situation of Travel Agency business is in a massive jeopardy. Today MICE is completely a buyer’s market hence the buyer (Corporate) dictate their own terms in the contract that they sign with us agents. And the only thing to be blamed is the “Credit Policy”. It has paralyzed most of the TA’s today because not only we lose money by undue deductions and delays of payments from the client’s end but also the meagre profits at which the files are closed and sadly it is even lesser than what a bank would pay on an FD. In a nutshell “Credit” is an evil and TA’s should think collectively on this and come out united to stop this once and for all. Mr. Sumit Berry
Director – U Tourizmo Services Pvt. Ltd.

HIGH Credit terms are the only reason behind MICE Company’s failure. It purely depends on us, whether we are targeting credit seekers client or clients having trust in our services and hence pay FULL before departure. We at YashDa Holidays never gave more then 10% credit to our customers and happy to share that we have clients who values our payment terms . It’s we ie travel companies, who agreed on credit terms and hence killing ourselves. During some of our meetings clients even mentioned “ If some travel agent wants to give them credit or wants to do charity by giving low rates, then why to say no” Mr. Humesh Sharma
Director – Yashda Holidays Pvt. Ltd.
MICE is the only Holiday business today which is not effected by online but on the other hand margins are shrinking with growing competition & demanding customers. We need to draw a clear line between operating cost & submitted cost. Learn to SAY NO without spoiling your relationship with corporate instead picking business in minus. Same corporate would come back to you again for the next business. Mr. Ravi Barua, Book My Hotelz
Mr. Shyam Saini Axplore Travelplus
Mr. Sunil Singh
In MICE Industry credit payment is a common practise, as it’s a number game. At times it turns challenging too as the margins are low while you have to balance your equations in the market and with customers. Still we strongly believe relationship exercise with your client helps you to strike a balance in expectation and deliverables. The credit policy if exercised in control is good for secured business activity. We at Axplore would welcome any policy or frame work which all travel companies can follow while bidding for business, as far as Credits are concerned.
Axplore Travelplus
MICE industry which is by all account rewarding, may be comprehended as simple as strolling on the bucket of roses yet it’s not the fact. A fruitful execution is the consequence of the endeavors of the determined team working from head to toe to keep the ball rolling. To be in competition, one should be proactive and must be quick to manage the dynamic changes in the market. Enduring each test and conveying the best, while considering the different psychographic factors of the end clients. One should be prompt in providing the array of services while building an impeccable reputation in the spectrum of competitors.

ICE as a segment has shown a great potential in last one decade in India. Our country hosts a number of multinational companies that often organise these events. At Thomas Cook India, the MICE segment is a powerhouse in our growth story and a key element of our strategic plan for 2019. India’s MICE segment is evolving at a rapid pace and hence our plan includes strong focus on product development, incorporating a vibrant combination of fresh destinations and unique experiential elements. The events business holds significant opportunities and our MICE Team explores this domain to maximise delivery. We are also focusing on our corporate outreach strategy to target high potential corporates, both existing and via new acquisitions. Corporates are looking for destinations with experiences to strengthen bonds and connect with members of the company. It is no longer just a rewards and recognition program. We have organized events that include experiences like white water rafting, zip lining, jungle safaris, snow lunches, glacier dinners, helicopter rides, and water sports. We are one of the highest tax paying nations and that

sometimes deters the potential MICE organisers to come to our country. • Renowned corporates now want to explore destinations which are unexplored by the Indian Traveler, and the biggest challenge we face in the MICE business is that though the number of travelers are increasing exponentially we have to scout for destinations which are well versed with Indian food and have the presence of multiple Indian restaurants with a decent seating capacity. • In case of an outbound travel, we zero down on destinations that issue/grant visa’s quickly or are destinations that are visa free/have the priority of visa on arrival. • We have to find destinations and create itineraries that has experiential activities which can be enjoyed with quick TAT for huge numbers. • To find branded hotel chains (5/4 stars) which would have a: Huge inventory (Twin Rooms) Having the exptertise to cook Indian food for huge numbers A property having huge meeting space for the award/ conference & Gala Dinner.

Q3: Destinations to be offered for Indian Corporates? Destinations in Europe, specially the Mediterranean are popular among Indian MICE Organizers. This holds true for all three brands. However, increasingly there is interest in more exotic destinations such as Alaska and Bahamas from group organizers.
Q4: What have been the figures from India so far for NCLH and what are the expectations going forward? India has enjoyed double-digit growth since opening of the market in early 2016 and now ranks as a top 20 market for the company. While our initial success was mostly on the Norwegian Cruise Line brand, we have recently seen good growth on both Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises. We believe this market has potential to grow at double-digit rates for us for many years to come.

Bali International Convention Centre (BICC) is the island’s most comprehensive meeting facility located within a secured tourism enclave approximately 10km from the airport. It is managed by The Westin Resort, an adjacent property with direct beachfront access. It is Bali’s preferred meeting venue with over 28 years of experience hosting prestigious events. WhatsApp and CII will work to enhance business communication for Indian SMEs through CII’s SME Technology Facilitation Centre. This was set up in November 2016, with the objective of creating awareness amongst SMEs in India on technological solutions that can be optimally adopted to enhance their overall competitiveness. There will be on-ground trainings around the country to explain the features and best practices on the App. In addition to this, business owners located in the hinterland will have the opportunity to attend training webinars to help them grow and expand their businesses. The training material will be available on the CII SME website (www.ciisme.in). According to a survey demonstrating the economic impact of WhatsApp in India, 70% of SMEs on WhatsApp in India say that they built their business on the platform. 78% of these SMEs say they have increased sales because of WhatsApp. Until the launch of the WhatsApp Business app earlier this year, small businesses didn’t have a formalized way to use What-
sApp to connect with their customers. Speaking on the occasion, Ms Neerja Bhattia, Executive Director, CII said “CII SME Technology Facilitation Centre, is CII’s initiative to provide latest technology support to SMEs in India. Reports of ED, RBI action against delay in remittances cause panic among exporters: EEPC India Reports that the RBI is contemplating to forward cases of nonrealization of export proceeds to the Enforcement Directorate have created an avoidable panic even among genuine exporters who have submitted their records about remittance receipts with their banks, EEPC India said. “We have received several complaints from our members about the banks not issuing documents about the remittance receipts even after submission of all the required papers. Thus, exporters are facing a double whammy- losing refunds like drawbacks and the possibility of ED action,” Chairman of the apex engineering exporters’ body Mr. Ravi Sehgal said in a statement. He said while the EEPC India has been regularly advising its members to reconcile their remittances records , several banks are not issuing the clearances , especially with regard to shipments to countries like Syria,Iran and Sudan etc. He said, at a time when exports are facing global headwinds like the slowdown in the US economy, the uncertainty of Brexit and the trade war between the US and China, the RBI and the government should be dealing with issues like remittances in a friendly manner. MICE Affairs |

“In any case, it is in the interest of exporters to get their remittances in as quickly as possible. It is in rare cases that there may be the temptation of foreign exchange arbitrage which could even result into losses. So, the problem seems to be more of procedures and should be treated like that, Mr. Sehgal said. He said India’s overall merchandise exports remained static, logging in less than one percent growth in November this year. “The last thing our exporters want is the procedural hassle and any enforcement action,” the EEPC India Chairman said.

The famous Raas Leela dance of Manipur is a must watch amongst the variety of performances by folk dance artistes. “Manipur receives the maximum number of visitors during this time of the year when we celebrate our biggest tourism festival. The curtain raiser for this festival is organised in Delhi to create awareness amongst potential visitors about the state’s offerings as a tourist destination. Manipur is largely unexplored and offers huge opportunities for adventure, culture and rural tourism aficionados,” said Shri W. Ibohal Singh, Director (Tourism), Government of Manipur. “Our state present huge opportunities for adventure tourism and we are exploring opportunities to associate with domestic and international adventure tourism associations. It is the right time for us to inform travellers in the region that our state is ready to welcome you all to Manipur Sangai Festival - the grandest tourism festival of the state,” he added. A variety of performances like the famed Raas Leela, Khamba Thoibi Dance, Kabui Naga Dance, Thang Ta Show (Martial Arts of Manipur), Pung Cholom and Dhol Cholom formed part of the showcase of Manipur’s rich cultural heritage at the event at Select City Walk Mall, Saket. Master Tiluck Keisham’s Limbo Skating show formed part of the special attraction of the event. The event also saw the participation of travel agents and tour operator associations from Delhi. Air Asia sponsored two tickets (DelhiImphal-Delhi) for a couple as prize for the online promotional campaign of Manipur Sangai Festival 2018. The state is considered one of the safest states for women and has a women only market where many businesswomen run their small vegetable stalls till late at night. UFI, Explori present largest ever Global Visitor Insights study ▪▪ Data from over 13,000 trade show visitors globally shows shifting patterns of expectations ▪▪ Trade shows seen as stable, solid, business channel, but competing channels of interaction may see faster growth ▪▪ While there is some shift towards more “festivalisation”, the current visitor cohort values meeting business objectives over entertainment ▪▪ Concrete visitor ‘pain points’ cluster around easy-to-manage actions for organisers and venues Paris – 13 December 2018: Trade show visitors globally are reporting a stable overall satisfaction with the shows they attend - but at the same time, between 22 and 27% of show visitors from mature markets feel that shows are “getting worse”. Younger, Csuite show participants are also more likely to require trade shows to become more entertaining, while still enabling them to meet their business needs. These are some of the core findings of the 2018/19 Global Visitor Insights Study, jointly conducted by UFI - the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, and event research specialists Explori, that has now been released. Based on a combination of the unique global UFI network and the global reach of the Explori customer and research base, the 2018/19 Global Visitor Insights provides the largest ever global insight into exhibition visitors. The study is based on the analysis of more than 13,000 responses from trade show visitors, combined with in-depth interviews with 29 event directors and senior marketers. It provides many insights and take-aways for professionals within the exhibition industry, among them: ▪▪ Globally, trade shows receive a 3.86 (out of 5.00) overall satisfaction rating, and a Net Promoter Score of +7. Both values have remained stable over the past three years. Organisers appear to be doing an effective job at maintaining visitor satisfaction and advocacy; however visitors from developed markets are showing more signs of fatigue from the traditional trade show model than those from developing markets. ▪▪ Visitors rate the trade show channel as “best of class” in regards to their core business needs to network/meet people, to buy/source products, to learn/stay up to date with the industry, and to find new ideas/innovations. However, they indicate that their use of other channels will grow at a greater rate than their use of trade shows. ▪▪ The ability to source new ideas and solutions is most closely correlated with overall visitor satisfaction. Therefore, access to an appropriate number of quality exhibitors remains key MICE Affairs |

for visitors. In parallel, the traditional model for trade shows needs to evolve to meet changing needs or audiences: preferences of younger visitors and those from developing markets are beginning to change the current balance; approach to sustainability also becomes a compelling factor in some cases. ▪▪ Organisers perceived visitors as expecting a more seamless experience and this corresponds with the areas that frustrate visitors most. Seating areas, catering, and queueing times top this list. WIFI accessibility only appears at number nine on the list of frustrations, but is more likely to be seen as an issue by younger visitors. ▪▪ Whereas event technology can have a beneficial effect on the visitor experience in many areas, there is still a general lack of awareness, functionality and execution which currently limits its value to both organisers and visitors. Kai Hattendorf, UFI Managing Director/CEO said: “This study confirms the central role of exhibitions for visitors as their clear channel of choice for their business development. In addition to highlighting the key drivers of visitors experience and the impact of the age of visitors, the study also reports some significant regional differences, and a clear indication as to how organisers can address core elements of the way visitors experience their shows.” Sophie Holt, Explori Global Strategy Director and report author, added: “Global Visitor Insights is the most expansive study we have yet undertaken during our partnership with UFI and we were delighted by the support from organisers around the world in helping us secure such a large response base. I would like to thank all the organisers who participated, especially those who shared their experiences, hopes and frustrations during the research interviews. I look forward to sharing more report insights with the industry throughout the coming year.” For the 2018 Global Visitor Insights study, 13,000 responses from trade show visitors in 135 countries have been analysed in addition to a meta-analysis of the Explori global data-set comprising visitor feedback from over 1,600 trade shows. The UFI/ Explori Global Visitor Insights are jointly researched and written by UFI and Explori. The report is supported by The Society of

Vietnam’s December Delight Embassy of the S.R. Of Vietnam, organized the Vietnam Tourism Roadshow in New Delhi, under the theme “Vietnam – A Charming destination for Indian tourists” followed by presentation of “PHU QUOC-The Paradise Isalnd of Vietnam” in the same month.
The new Ambassador of Vietnam to India, Nepal & Bhutan, HE Pham Sanh Chau affirmed, after nearly 30 years of renovation, from a country heavily damaged by the war, Vietnam has become one of the most dynamic economies in the region. “Vietnam is home of 8 UNESCO world heritages, well –preserved historic relics and beautiful beaches. Indian travelers can find the affluence of Indian culture in Vietnam through Hindu temples in Ho Chi Minh city or at the My Son sanctuary as well as many Indian restaurants. Vietnam has all kinds of services to satisfy the need of foreign tourists, whether for

holidays, shopping, leisure, food exploration, wedding, honeymoon or for business and conference.” The number of Indian tourists to Vietnam was 110,000 in 2017 but it is estimated to increase in the coming years, thanks to the various promotional activities to be organized by Vietnam and India. HE invited Indians and especially Delhi tour operators and travel agents to take advantage of geographical proximity between India and Vietnam to promote tourism and expand their tourist business with Vietnam. During the presentation of PHU QUOC, H.E. Pham Sanh Chau, Ambassador-Vietnam Embassy, New Delhi shared “ Phu Quoc is ready to welcome Indian tourists. Last year a few Indian tourists have visited the destination, and the response has been overwhelming. Moreover this year, one Indian wedding has been confirmed at Phu Quoc. So, it’s a start for letting Indian tourists know there is something which is new and close to nature. The destination is unexplored. And we are ready to welcome Indian Weddings and honeymooners looking out for something refreshing” “Travel Fraternity is looking forward to Phu Quoc as an addition to their selling product range, which is going to generate new visitors to the destination. We have been receiving a lot of requests from regular travelers to offer destinations like Phu Quoc and we are sure the gap shall be filled soon. Discussing about the flight connections, Vietjet, which is a low-cost airline, shall be commencing direct flights to Vietnam very soon. This shall also help to get low airfares to the destination, which is a major challenge as on date.” quoted Mr. Sanjay Narula- Vice President Travel Agents Association of India.

India Expo Mart- Establishing Path Breaking Milestones In Conversation with: SUDEEP SARCAR, CEO-India Expo Mart, Greater Noida Q1: Along with the growth of Exhibition Industry in India, share the key milestones achieved by IEML so far? SS: We believe in providing our patrons with a wholesome experience, all in terms of infrastructure, quality of service as well as exposure & reach. Sudeep Sarcar To achieve this in a holistic and socially responsible way, we take meaningful steps every day. Thankfully, some of our achievements are rated as major pathbreaking milestones for the industry. This could include adding more expo area (new Halls), getting solar powered, engaging awarded F&B and housekeeping services, offering dedicated highspeed WiFi connectivity, introducing market outreach services - all enabling us to host high profile, high-security delegate meets; largest, high visitor volume events; multiple, concurrent events and specialized, curated shows. Q2: SATTE 2019 is shifted to IEML for the first time. A quick reaction to the same? SS: South Asia’s leading Travel Trade Show-SATTE, is a muchawaited annual event of the travel & tourism industry. We are honored at this opportunity to host this 26th edition of SATTE at IEML and welcome who’s-who of the travel trade. Having been awarded as ‘The Best MICE Venue’ of the year and our Chairman, Shri. Rakesh Kumar getting honored as the ‘Best MICE Person’ of the year 2018, I would say SATTE has come to its befitting home, and travel industry’s choicest venue. Q3: IEML has also started an initiative for exhibition education. Can you share the idea behind this project? SS: MICE industry is in dire need of well-trained manpower MICE Affairs |

to propel the industry further. To fulfill the requirement we launched the Academy of Convention, Trade Fair, Event Research & Management (ACTERM) on April 2018. The courses offered by ACTERM are very methodically designed keeping in mind the need of trained professionals from the bottom to the top of the hierarchy. The Certificate, Diploma and PG Diploma Courses combine management theory with hands-on courses, professional internships, and a business specialization. We are also in the process to introduce UGC recognized BBA & MBA in Trade Fair, Event and Convention Management (TEC). Q4: With Pragati Maidan coming up with upgraded infrastructure and IICC also coming up in Dwarka, do you feel the competition is going to exceed in a big way or the added venue infrastructure will create opportunities for new projects related to conference and exhibition sector? SS: Absolutely yes! With the addition of new centers, India is poised to cater to the world demand for exhibitions & conventions and this will, in turn, surge its economic value. The competition will only give each venue the opportunity to achieve higher standards. Opportunities are waiting in the wings as MICE space in India is set to triple over the next two to three years and the sector is poised for robust growth. Soon north India will be the hub for the MICE sector and IEML will continue to be an exemplary facility. But of course, ‘Ambitions must be set higher after every level that is reached’. We have higher aspirations. As they say, the sky is the limit. Below yellow lines to be highlighted in commas as in sample (Opportunities are waiting in the wings as MICE space in India is set to triple over the next two to three years and the sector is poised for robust growth. AME- 2019 Q1: Please share key highlights of AME 2019? ACE of M.I.C.E. is the leading MICE industry tradeshow of Turkey and the surrounding region gathering MICE professionals for six years since its launch in 2014. The show is gearing up for its sixth edition on 20-22 February 2019 at Istanbul Congress Center (ICC) – Istanbul, Turkey. ACE of M.I.C.E. will welcome around 250 exhibiting companies and 200 International and 500 local buyers will be hosted to engage B2B meetings with the exhibitors. We will ensure that our participants to increase the volume of business by meeting right buyers within the framework of our International Hosted Buyer Programme. We focused to increase the ROI of exhibitors by generating programs based on their
Q3: AME has created a niche for itself in the market. The show has grown manifold since the inception? How this has been made possible? The exhibition has kicked off unusually productive and had a great potential to be one of the leading global MICE industry

trade-show. Although, beginning by the 2015 we were not luck since Istanbul has experienced several unfortunate events including a disastrous terrorist attacks, a coup attempt our exhibition progressed for even better every year despite these incidents. In 2018, more than 10.000 MICE professionals and participants visited the exhibition. 220 international and local firms providers exhibited during the show and there were 200 International hosted buyers from 41 countries and 417 local buyers. 3896 B2B meetings were set during the three day show. There is a huge effort behind the growth of the ACE of M.I.C.E. every year. My perspective as a manager is to put the benchmark into very high which will make the all strategy, plan and effort that we can put into action cordially high as well. I think this is the first pillar behind the establishment of this niche. Simply, hard work and relevant dream to achieve. Second pillar is the Turkey as a MICE destination it has been also deriving huge power to our organization to become one of the successful MICE industry trade shows. ACE of M.I.C.E. is the only platform in Turkey where the local industry providers can exhibit their services to the global markets.
Q4: What’s the relevance of AME for India market? How has been the response so far? India is one of the prior markets for Turkish MICE industry right now since there is a huge interest from India to Turkey especially for weddings and meetings. Indian companies are making the huge part of the International Hosted Buyer Program and we do also had some exhibitors from Indian market in the previous years. Response for our efforts to market ACE of M.I.C.E. to the Indian has been quite positive since we do received a lot of applications for the International Hosted Buyer Program. Whereas, we are lack of exhibitors from India at the moment and we would like work with Indian providers to exhibit in our show. I should say that Turkey is a growing country and its MICE market is growing in parallel with the economy. I call all of the Indian MICE companies, CVB’s and service providers to work with us.

An effortless experience is the solution to customer loyalty. “High budget spends promise memorable experience”. Be at variance with this statement, Indian Travel companies are implementing innovative methods to please their customers. Mice Affairs team is putting an efforts to highlight such stories. In this article, we shall be recognizing such initiatives; Rainbow Trade Fair Tours is the first one to qualify for this story….. Rainbow Trade Fair Tours, India makes strong presence in Medica 2018, Dusseldorf with 158 business visitor and exhibitors Medica, as the name defines, the largest medical and surgical industry show from Germany is witnessing huge crowd from different countries with each passing year. The show is known for advanced technological innovations in medical sector and has been the key sourcing and networking opportunity for the trade. Indian businessmen have been marking their presence in this show since long. Medica has also proved to be a platform for innovation in medical industry. Moving in the direction of Innovation, Rainbow Trade Fair Tours from India , surprised their clients in Germany with experiences like “Chai Pe Charcha”. Speaking on this occasion Mr. Sundesh from Rainbow Tours commented “We have been organizing delegation to Medica since inception of our company and this has been our most loveable project. This time we have the largest delegation from India of 158 delegates. Rainbow has been trying to create niche experiences for the clients with minimal efforts, yet memories to last forever. Events like “Chai Pe Charcha” are well received and appreciated by our valuable clients from the medical industry. We plan to continue with such experiments for other projects too. “
