This project explores how the architectural method of Discrete Elements can be applied to conceptual studies as well as specific urban landscapes, thereby illustrating the contextual relationship a building has to its environment.
This study starts by developing a discrete element design through a sculptural case study. This design is situated within the contexts of an existing landscape, specifically the post-socialist Belgrade in Serbia. The aim of this study is to propose an intervention with the current conditions of Block 21 in the new Belgrade.
