Cryptoanarchy
STATEMENT The term cryptoanarchy describes the growing environment of the unregulated Internet, where unlimited data sharing and the development of the free market became possible by using anonymous tools such as decentralized currencies like bitcoin, and anti-spyware encryption tools. From the intervention of a live broadcast of Czech Television to the virtual interaction with politician’s mobile phones, we as members of the Ztohoven group are associated with hacking. The inspiration of technological innovation and it’s potential impact on society led us to a tight interaction with the hacker’s scene. As we understand the connection between the arts, science and technology as a tool to highlight the authoritarian tendencies which entered into our daily lives with the development of modern technologies, we decided to join the international hackers network and to establish a hacker space called Institute of Cryptoanarchy. The aim of the Institute of Cryptoanarchy is to make available tools for unlimited dissemination of information on the Internet and encouraging a parallel decentralized economy, crypto-currencies and other conditions for the development of a free society in the 21st century. The main motive for us is the belief that censorship is not a phenomenon only in “the distant dictatorial world”. States and their security agencies globally control access to information and use the protection of intellectual property as an excuse to apply total censorship to control the available resources. The State on a global level processes private mail and personal data, even though the European Court of Justice decided on the illegitimacy of “data retention”. The State and corporations have data on economic behavior, and through legislation they have received complete access to all payment transactions and consumer habits. New technology brings the possibility of choice – we are in a time that is defined by The Crypto Anarchist Manifesto. With a fast internet connection, reliable anonymity and decentralized currency, you preserve freedom which we have been losing as a society.

Crypto Auction House New technology such as cryptocurrencies have given us the ability to facilitate transactions without government or third-party interference. The current advances being made with this technology and the advent of true decentralization are more important than ever due to the increasing stranglehold regulators have on traditional financial transactions.

Topology
Geometrical Study The library of surfaces was formed after an in-depth study on topological organization of surfaces and volumes. The aim of this study was to experiment on a new spatial production method to produce a variety of complex non-standard surface models using a minimum of operations on geometry.
Iterations
Combining Principles These understandings of surfaces and volumes were taken up and further developed into iterations which were brought into an architectural interplay between space and function. With these diagrams, I identified architectural systems created by the combined surfaces from the library which essentially creates Structure, Space and Circulation
Final Iteration
Linear
Curved
Angled
Final Iteration The final iteration of the study aims to implement several working combinations discovered in previous experimentations. The model consists of three plates, each serving a specific purpose: the ground floor plate serves as a ground condition and provides structural support, the first floor plate works as circulation, and the roof plate defines the shape and serves as a cover.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism The final iteration of the study was posted on UEL Instagram page and gained instant online traction via social media platforms such as Next Top Architects, receiving 16,000+ likes. In an interesting turn of events, this design was plagiarised by a Taiwanese firm HC Design (above images) and entered into a government-ran national competition, in which it won a budget of ÂŁ8.2 million and is set to start building by the end of the year. This case received an incredible amount of media attention in Taiwan in March, it made national news on several news channels (i.e.. Liberty Times, TBVS, People News, Now News, Next Media etc)

Crypto Auction House
Crypto Auction House The Crypto Auction House aims to normalise the use of cryptocurrency by proposing a market space and auction house where goods can be sold and purchased only with bitcoin. This encourages the use of cryptocurrency and challenges the idea that bitcoin is only for the tech savvy individual. By applying the findings from the geometrical study to the chosen programs and context of Vltavskรก, Prague, this building explores how the curved forms react with the function and site. To achieve the curved form of the structure, I have chosen to use cross laminated timber which is arranged in a grid shell structure.
