What is this exactly?
How will it go?
Where will this happen?
A series of training sessions focused on increasing proficiency in management functions, ensuring advanced understanding of AIESEC Philippines’ business model, and providing other fundamental information needed in preparation for MCP candidacy.
There are seven elements that will be covered in the Training Series:
In any agreed upon location, or AIESEC Philippines Foundation, Inc. national office by default.
Why is this step important? We want to bring out the best in every candidate so the voting members of AIESEC in the Philippines can evaluate each one performing on a highly competitive level. The presidential training aims to equalize the playing by shifting the focus away from traits that can be easily learned or resources that are easily acquired during transition months. Instead, we want the highlight of the elections to be the unique traits of each individual candidate, which are harder to develop and duplicate in others.

Why are you running for MCP 2015-2016? What do you aim to gain and experience through it? What would you like to give and contribute?
2.
Aside from AIESEC, what are you most passionate about? What makes you so passionate about this?
3.
What kind of MCP do you think AIESEC Philippines needs for term 2015 to 2016? Give up to a maximum of five descriptions with reasons to why you selected these. How would you rate yourself based on the five descriptions you provided?
4.
What kind of MCEB team does the entity need for 2015-2016? What makes you say so? What strong aspects of your leadership, personality, attitude, and resources would you bank on in forming and developing a team like this? What improvement aspects of your leadership, personality, attitude, and resources would you need to work on the most to make this happen?
5.
AIESEC in the Philippines is greatly struggling to meet the programme goals it set for itself for 2014, and the probability of the entity still achieving it looks bleak. 2015 is about to start, yet not everything has been set yet in preparation for this. a. Give your most comprehensive assessment of AIESEC Philippines for the year 2014. Where did the entity succeed and fail? What are the key root causes as to why it is where it is right now, in terms of goal-actual achievement for 2014? b. If you were MCP today, detail an action plan that would ensure a strong start for 2015, focusing on ELD volume and quality and the execution of key projects that need be done before January.
6.
During 2014-2015, planning was made with the assumption of continuity happening until the very end of 2015. That is, the mission of “AIESEC for the Philippines developing, enabling, and advocating leadership in every experience” and the national goals, projects, and strategies that go with it were set to close on December 31, 2015. This aligns with the philosophy that AIESEC should measure its milestones based on calendar year, rather than management terms, to instill accountability for the future and to the past, as well as the mindset of sustainability and continuity. In fact, the annual Awards Night has been moved from May to December. If elected as MCP, you have every right to redesign and re-strategize all of this, based on your own philosophy. a. What are your thoughts on this philosophy on cross-generational accountability, sustainability and continuity and how it’s being applied to AIESEC? b. What do you plan to do with the mission, strategies, and projects that were set to carry over the start of your term until the end of 2015?
7.
Whether or not you get elected, being an MCP candidate is an immensely unique and powerful opportunity to address the national plenary and beyond, with all eyes and all ears on you. Given this, what is the one key message or idea that you want to communicate to the rest of AIESEC in the Philippines, regardless of being elected?
