Welcome to Grace 

Please fill out a Family Registration Card. Prayer requests can be written on the card. Pass cards to the center aisle so the ushers can collect them.  Children are welcome in the worship service. They are invited to the front for a children’s message in the Blended service.  A nursery is provided for children 3 and under during Sunday School and the Blended Service. The ushers will assist you in finding the nursery.

Fall Children’s Programs are just around the corner. Make sure to register your child(ren). Sunday School begins September 7th at 9:15 a.m. During September we will be learning about Jacob from the book of Genesis. Midweek begins Wednesday, September 10th at 6:30 p.m. (Meal at 6:00 p.m.) There will be classes for all ages. We will be learning about Responsibility - showing you can be trusted with what's expected of you. If you are interested in getting involved in Sunday School or Midweek please let Kayla know! We would love to have you be a part of Children’s Ministry.

Confirmation Classes will begin on September 10. If you have in child in

6th, 7th or 8th grade that is planning to attend Pastor’s Confirmation class, please let him know.

The Men of Grace will provide Hot Dogs & Burgers. Please bring side dishes and desserts to share! After the meal there will be games and activities for both kids and adults. We hope to see you there!

The Texas District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod will be meeting in Convention June 4-6 in San Marcos. These conventions take place every three years. Now is the time for our congregation to consider who will be our lay voting delegate. If you are interested in serving in this capacity, please let Mont Taylor or Pastor know.

The Men’s Breakfast Bible Study at Braums in Sherman will resume on Thursday September 11 at 6:30 a.m.

The Church Council approved a Fellowship Hall Facelift at their meeting last week. There will be some new windows and doors installed, a fresh coat of paint, and some changes around the mailbox area. The cost will be about $3000. We have $2000 currently available. If you would like to contribute to this project, please mark your offering “Fellowship Hall Facelift.” If you have questions about the project, speak to Cari Miller.

Several folks have expressed interest in attending Pastor’s Adult Instruction Class that goes over the basic teachings of Christianity. The class will be held September 56. We will meet on Friday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m.– 2 p.m. If you would like to be a part of this class, let Pastor know ASAP.
