I'm kicking off this facebook page with a statement that, like all my activities, I use it as a medium for the “culture-forming” component of my art. That art combines the concept shown by my geometric knot forms with a sculpture project that merges an actual form of my geometry with the cultural environment that makes it possible. My art is illustrated in eight blogspot Internet sites centered on http://workofhands.blogspot.com Culture-forming means a strong involvement with local history and heritage. I have been encouraged to participate in the I Like Saugerties facebook community and this is the requisite facebook identity I must have to do this. In setting up this account I've detailed a profile that describes my history and heritage-specific activities and I'll continue to use this facebook account to give those interested a heads up on what I am currently doing.
