The Carriage House Bistro and Tavern | Province Lake Golf Club | Just Down the Street.
Just around the corner and surrounding the property is the historic Province Lake Golf Club. Originally built as a 9-hole course in 1918 along the shores of Province Lake by Joseph Emery-the namesake for the property featured in this book. Emery, a native of Dover, New Hampshire served as president of Lord & Taylor in New York City and would visit Province Lake each summer.
The original course was designed by Lawrence Van Etten, who also created a number of courses on the East Coast, including Deal Country Club in New Jersey and the original Wykagyl Course in New Rochelle, New York.
In 1988, a second nine holes was built, designed by the renowned East Coast architect Brian Silva. His work includes the Black Creek outside Chattanooga, TN, the Captains Course and Cape Cod National in Brewster, MA, Shaker Hills in Harvard, MA, and Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston, MA.
The Carriage House Bistro and Tavern was reborn in 2018 as an ideal place to meet, greet and eat wonderful foods and beverages in a wonderful atmosphere. All of this just down the street of the Property at 1 Emery Road.

he quality of a home is reflected in the workmanship, design, function--even a few surprises. This is not a cookie cutter design. Much thought was put into the way people live--and what they always wanted to. Soaring cathedral ceilings with natural wood ceiling finish. All the materials used inside and out are low maintenance from composite decking and vinyl siding outside. Huge ceiling fans and quality fixtures in the bathrooms. High quality low maintenance floors throughout reflecting the natural surroundings. Open kitchen with clean shaker cabinets, huge kitchen island and granite counters. Massive windows bring the outside in. All with very efficient systems in its heart.
