GCNKAA BUSINESS EXCHANGE 2022 LIVE EDITION RULES AND REGULATIONS 1.
Networking is in the main room at Oasis Conference Center from 8:30 am to 9:00 am. We will provide any updates regarding participating companies at this time and review how to navigate the floor.
2.
Fast Pass Raffle Tickets are available prior to the event online or during the networking portion of the Business Exchange. Each raffle ticket is $20 each or 6 for $100. There is one Fast Pass available per management company and drawing is random. This means you may not select which Fast Pass you want to win (ie, all tickets are in one basket and we pull one winner at a time for each management company).
3.
Fast Pass will allow the winner to go the front of the line to meet with the representatives of the management company for which they won the Fast Pass. This is valid for use during the open rotations from 10 am to 11:30 am.
4.
Winner of the Fast Pass may use their Fast Pass at their respective management company AFTER the scheduled rotations are complete only and we move into the random rotation portion of the event.
5.
The Business Exchange begins promptly at 9 am. A schedule of meeting times is available inside the booklet. As we are on a regimented schedule, please arrive PROMPTLY at your meeting time. If you are late to your meeting, your time will not be extended to make up for that missed time.
6.
The first 10 rotations have been pre-scheduled according to your requests as well as the requests from participating property owners and management companies indicating which products and services they are planning to invest in during 2022 and 2023. Every effort was made to match you up to your Meeting Ranking Sheet.
7.
Each meeting gives you five (5) minutes to speak with the owner or management company at their designated booth during your pre-assigned meeting time. If you go to the wrong meeting at the wrong time, you may be asked to return at your scheduled time. If you miss your pre-scheduled meeting completely, we will not be able to reschedule. You may try again during the open rotations.
8.
When the pre-scheduled meeting rotations are over, you are free to move around the room to meet with any company that you did not have a scheduled meeting. Some companies may have lines. Please be aware that some lines may be longer than others so use your time to your advantage.
9.
Please note that you may not have the opportunity to meet all participating management companies. This is dependent upon the total number of participating management companies and the total number of participating associate members.
10. GCNKAA Staff will keep track of time and announce when meetings end and attendees should get ready to rotate to their next meeting. Please do not overstay your meeting time as this will interfere with other meeting schedules. Participating property owners and management companies have been asked to assist GCNKAA staff in keeping on schedule by facilitating any removal of associate members that overstay their meeting. 11. There are no breaks between rotations. However, if you do not have a pre-scheduled meeting during a specific timeframe, please feel free to relax or get ready for your next scheduled meeting. Once the pre-scheduled rotations are complete, we ask attendees to form orderly lines to meet with the participating management companies. 12. Several participating property owners and management companies have donated gift cards to local restaurants and retail facilities. Door prizes will be drawn during the Exchange and winners will be posted after the pre-scheduled meetings conclude. Please be sure to check the winner boards to see if you won. Gift cards can be claimed at the podium area. 13. Please be sure to minimize distractions while in your meetings as much as possible. Be prepared for your meeting! 14. The Silent Auction returns this year. Five property management companies have created a package to auction off that includes a lunch at the pre-advertised restaurant. Packages are subject to a mutually accepted date and time. Opening bid is $200 per package. 15. There are 10 rotations during this event. Every effort was made to match you up to your Meeting Ranking Sheet. Due to the total of attendees, you each have approximately 4 to 5 rotations scheduled. 4
