“In 2010 we were signing a 100 million euros contract with a chinese brand but I was distressed. I have been to my friends Piech and Winterkorn looking for a partner. They were worried I could bring secrets to the rivals. They offered me to join the Volkswagen group and become partners. I was worried, I could not work with anyone else anymore. Ferdinand (Piech) quickly said: <<Giorgetto, are not enough our ten brands?>>. We sold them the 90.1% of Italdesign.�

Giorgietto Giugiaro - Career

Giugiaro has designed probably more than 200 cars, and who knows how many concepts. He has dedicated his whole life to his work, his influence and his talent are recognised in any design filed from the product to the transportation.
