Marcello Gandini

August 26, 1938. Turin, Italy. He started to work at Carozzeria Marazzi as a free designer. At the beginning of the sixties he started to work for Bertone and after 14 years he became a freelance-designer.

Lamborghini Miura

Produced between 1966 to 1973. P400 it was presented at the Geneva Motor Show in 1967.

Prototype Produced in 1968 He introduced the vertical doors.

Lamborghini Countach

Produced between 1974 to 1990. The Lamborghini Countach is a rear mid-engined, V12 sports. Oppossite approach compare to the Miura.

Stratos Zero

“Prototipo Zero” Turin Motor Show in 1970. It stell considered a contemporary car. Gandini’s iconic Lancia Stratos in a WRC rally. The model of the car was made without the sketch.

THE FUTURE

“In those years many cars are composedly with an increasing number of parts, with is not difficult to achieve. The future is to maintain the same functions with less elements.” Autonomus drive Only where there is a need and not to take away the driver.

Why each car was so different?

“I tempi cambiano quindi anche le automobili lo fanno, ...bisognava fare sempre qualcosa di diverso ma mantenere il desiderio l’ambizione e lo spirito”.
