General Submission Information

◆ Anyone interested in entering exhibits is welcome to participate.

◆ Adult classes are for ages 18 and over as of January 1, 2023.

◆ Teen classes are for ages 13–17 as of January 1, 2023.

◆ Junior classes are for ages 7–12 as of January 1, 2023.

◆ Beginner classes are for ages 1–6 as of January 1, 2023.

◆ Exhibitors may enter up to two (2) items in each class.

◆ Exhibits must be made, grown, or created by the exhibitor entering them and have not been entered in a previous fair.

◆ Exhibits may be entered in “any other” only if there is not an existing class in which that exhibit should be entered.

◆ Ribbons are awarded using the Danish System, meaning that exhibits will be judged against standards and not against other exhibits in the class.

◆ A ‘Best of Show’ rosette and belt buckle will be awarded to the best exhibit in each department, as determined by the judge. A ‘Division Champion’ rosette will be awarded to the best exhibit in each division, as determined by the judge. Blue and red ribbons may be awarded to all other exhibits in each class. Red ribbons are not eligible for premiums.

◆ It is the judge’s discretion as to whether or not an exhibit is worthy of a ribbon.

◆ The Teton County Fair Board reserves the right to interpret these rules and guidelines to arbitrarily settle and determine all matters, questions, and differences.

◆ Any protests about an exhibit may be submitted in writing, to the Teton County Fair Board (PO Box 3075 Jackson, WY 83001) by Friday August 4th, 2023. A $25 cash protest fee must accompany the letter. If the Teton County Fair Board makes a decision on the protest in their favor, the Fair Board will retain the $25 protest fee. If judgment is awarded in favor of the exhibitor, the $25 will be returned. Teton County Fair Board decisions are final.

◆ Teton County Fair Board will take all reasonable precautions for the safekeeping of exhibits but WILL NOT be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur.

◆ Teton County Fair Board WILL NOT be responsible to store or keep any exhibits that are not picked up after Fair.

◆ Changes to the class list from year to year are at the Teton County Fair Board’s discretion. Classes may be eliminated if exhibits are not received for two (2) or more consecutive years in a particular class.

◆ Come to the Fair Office located at 305 W. Snow King Ave in Jackson, WY

◆ Mail your entry form to: Teton County Fair PO Box 3075, Jackson, WY 83001

◆ There is no cost to enter in-person or by mail.

Day-of exhibits will be accepted under the following conditions:

◆ Day-of exhibits are eligible for display only

◆ Exhibits will not receive a tag

◆ Exhibits are not eligible for judging

◆ Exhibits are not eligible to win ribbons or buckles, or to be paid premiums
