A: MIXED GARDENING

Leafy greens and herbs should be placed in a mason jar with water; all other items should be displayed on a plate. The Exhibit Hall Committee will provide white, dinette plates for all exhibits. Paper plates will not be accepted. Exhibits should be free of dirt but not washed.

All specimens should be:

◆ Free from decay, damage, and disease

◆ Fresh and of the same variety

◆ Mature, but not overripe

◆ Uniform in color, size & shape

All specimens should be free of defects, dirt, and disease and should be uniform in the following:

Boutonniere or Corsage: created using fresh, garden, field, and roadside harvested floral materials.

Cut Stem Arrangements: exhibits must have been grown and arranged by the exhibitor. Only foliage that is natural to the flower should be shown; remove any foliage that is under water. Flowers should be displayed in a 32 oz. widemouth, clear, glass mason jar.
