L E T T E R From the Lt. G Hi Owlets! October is rolling in, and one of the busiest months of the Key Club Year is coming in full swing. This month, our main focus will be raising money for The Eliminate Project through Trick-or-Treating and other fun fundraising events! Halloween is a great opportunity to raise money for the Eliminate Project. Boxes for UNICEF trick-or-treating will be available for you to fill up with change, and the money you raise will go towards eliminating MNT (maternal /neonatal tetanus) in less developed countries. The most recent countries that has been free of this disease are India and Cambodia. If you have trouble coming up with fundraising ideas for the Eliminate Project, see page 15 of this newsletter to get inspired. In addition, the PNW district is starting a scavenger hunt campaign. Look for a hyperlink in this issue that will give you an access code, which you can redeem at the PNW Key Club’s website (www.pnwkc.weebly.com). People who redeem the most codes will receive a special prize from the District Board! For more information, see page 13 of the newsletter. The October DCM will be held on Friday, October 23 at the Three Creeks Community Library. Keep up the great service, division 45! In Love and Service,

Michelle Chang Lieutenant Governor Division 45 Pacific Northwest Key Club International (360)602-2010 michellechang98629@gmail.com
