he convergence of care, research and education allows us to create new knowledge and skills that benefit patients, families, clinicians, scholars and learners. Sponsored by the School of Continuing Education and Clinical Education portfolios, Michener’s Convergence Conference brings the health care education community to share ideas, best practices, and to have critical conversations on the future of teaching and learning in the health professions. In addition to community building, this now annual conference has explored various themes, including how societies, systems, and issues of equity and diversity impact how education is created and delivered across the continuum on entry-to-practice learning and professional development.
