Reigning Carnival champs set the bar NICOLE IUTZI Lode Writer “Heroes and villains find their powers in these frozen winter hours!” That is the designated theme for Winter Carnival 2013. Student organizations all across campus are sculpting beautiful snow statues that are scattered across campus and the campus community. Jan. 14, immediately following students’ return to campus after the winter break, marked the start of the month-long statue competition. The construction of the statues will conclude at the close of the All-Nighter, on Feb. 7. In the meantime, groups work at creating the foundations and forms. This year Phi Kappa Tau (ΦKT), overall statue winners for the last five years, are once again working diligently
