his corporate identity and style guide is a set of rules that explains how our brand works visually. These guidelines include specifications for the use of our logo and different
graphic signs defining our visual identity. These brand rules are flexible for designers to be creative, but also rigid to keep our brand recognisable and stylistically coherent. Occasionally, situations will call for bending rules but never breaking them. Continuity is the key for our brand to be spread out uniformly through its multiple media platforms.

1.
Components of the style The visual identity of Microcred is based on these elements. Their combination and frequent use are the basis of our visual brand.
1. Colours
4. Bevelled text box
The Rubine Red (1a) is the emblematic colour of Mircocred’s brand. It should be strictly reproduced, as a major element of our identity.
The bevel graphic principle, of 25° inclination, is applied to the graphic elements accompanying the logo and generally, to all the communication materials of Microcred.
The Microrced Grey (1b) has been inherited from the historical grey of Microcred’s brand; it has been densified and countervails the brightness of the Rubine Red.
This 25° inclination is the same as the one limiting the left and right edges of the Microcred sign.
2. Logo
A unique typography, Exo 2, is the voice Microcred uses to express the brand.
It is made of a graphic sign symbolizing two open hands and a typography. These two elements are inseparable.
3. Signature It is the promise of the brand. Put under the logo (3a) or written in a Rubine Red bevelled shape (3b), it can be deployed on most of the formats.

5. Typography
Exo 2 is a sans serif modern typeface that allies a technological and futuristic style to an elegant design. It is flexible, in that it is made of 9 bold letters, each with its italic version. It is especially effective for legibility in writing both short and long bodies of text.

Construction, protection and minimum size The Microcred logo consists of a sign associated with the name written in a specific typeface. They are inseparable. 1. Proportions The distance between the sign and the name are immutable,. The two elements are strictly centered.
2. Protection Zone The protection zone around the logo is designed to protect its legibility. It is proportional to the size of the logo. No graphical elements (text, image, colour) should appear in this area.
3. Minimum size Below a certain size, the Microcred logo loses its legibility. The minimum printing size of the logo is 1.5 cm wide. For a screen display, the minimum size is 60 pixels wide.

2.02
Versions and uses The Microcred logo is available in different coloured versions, adapted to different uses: printing in four, two, and a single colour; posting on the web; social networks; and email signatures.
1. Printing in four colours (Cyan Magenta Yellow Black) This version should be used for four-colour printed materials such as posters, brochures, folders, and flyers.
2. Printing in two colours (direct tones/ PantoneÂŽ)
This version should be used for website screen display (Power Point). It meets the standards of use suitable for web: a resolution of 72 dpi (pixels per inch) to the colours RGB and hexadecimal formats (#)
5. Social networks (RGB)
Printing in direct tones gives to the colours pure and quality tint areas. To be advised on certain formats for a high added value, such as : seasons’ greetings cards, internal signage, and promotional items.
This version should be used for displaying pictures and profiles. It meets the standards of use: a resolution of 72 dpi (pixels per inch) to the colours RGB format and suitable file size.

When printing constraints dictate, especially for signage, a single colour version of the logo is possible in its tint Rubine Red (3a). A negative version is also possible (3b).

Examples of forbidden uses In order to preserve the integrity of Microcred’s brand, any alteration, deformation, modification or interpretation of the logo is prohibited. Some examples of what you may never do are :

Signature only The Microcred signature can be used without the logo in some specific cases. Its use follows certain basic rules:
1. On a wall decoration
3. On advertisement items
In a Microcred branch or on the wall of an authorised representative, the signature alone may only be reproduced on a Rubine Red background in typeface Exo 2 Semi Bold. The minimum letter size is 25 cm high.
On Microcred advertisement items, the signature alone may be used as the main graphic element.
2. On an output medium On a flyer, brochure, report, print ad or poster, the signature alone may be placed next to the logo. The height of the signature must always be at least the height of the Microcred name included in the logo.

Alteration, deformation, or interpretation of the signature are prohibited. Some examples of what you should never do are: 1. Omit the period at the end of the signature 2. Typography The visual identity of Microcred means the use of the font Exo 2, through its different bolds. 1. Microcred font A unique typography, Exo 2 is the voice which expresses the Microcred brand. Exo 2 is a modern font sans serif that combines a technological and futuristic style with an elegant design. It is composed of 9 bold letters, each with its italic version: particularly effective for legibility in writing both short and long bodies of text. This is a font that has a SIL Open Font License, which is a free license to free access. For this reason no replacement font is allowed. 2. Bolds Microcred can speak boldly and strongly in its communications, however, with EXO2 we can also be reserved and classic. Always use a compatible bold with the message.
3. Body To be consistent and simple makes communication faster and easier. When the public is familiar with the hierarchy of information, it only needs a moment to find what it seeks. Therefore our style guide allows only three sizes of fonts on the same document:

Size ONE for the title Size TWO for the subtitle or surtitle Size THREE for additional information.
4. Use Apply these fundamental typographic principles: • The content should always dictate the typographic formatting • Prioritize texts pushed to the left • Ban hyphenation • Fix the text on a grid of fixed base • Prioritize information, texts as well as visuals • Prioritize columns, lighten formatting, and leave at least 30% of the space blank with no graphics, text, or information. • The use of capital letters is recommended to highlight titles and headings • Never distort typefaces vertically or horizontally • Always apply a spacing at least 2 bodies over the body text. Example: body 12 pt, 14 pt Inter (12 +2)

Colours In addition to the Rubine Red tint and the Microcred Grey, a complementary colour range works as a colour chart depending on trades and the expressed client profit 1. Microcred colours

The Rubine Red (1a) is the emblematic colour of Microcred’s brand. It should be strictly reproduced, as a major element of our identity.
An additional colour chart is available for the designer. It sets 414 colours, in addition to the Microcred colours, that can be used in the creation of communication materials.
The Microcred Grey (1b) has been inherited from the historical grey of Microcred’s brand; it has been densified and countervails the brightness of the Rubine Red.
This colour range has multiple entries: - By trade (transfer, credit, biometry, mobile, savings, insurance, current account) - By client profit (serenity, trust, ease, freedom) - By target (professionals, individuals)
Note that the Rubine Red should always be used mainly in comparison with Microcred Grey, in a ratio of 70/30%.

Pictograms Pictograms are universal means to explain, simplify, and offer benchmarks. For every Microcred trade there is a pictogram. They are an important part of the visual language of the brand and mark out the paths of the clients.

10.01
Model of Branch Microcred branches have a comprehensive lighting system and meet the following standards in terms of painting, decoration and furnishing. 1. Outdoor decoration: long facade
This text box occupies at least 50% of the width of the facade.
The signature, placed opposite, is always on the left and has the same height as the the letters of the Microcred logo. It is placed at a distance of the bevel equal to the one between the logo of the bevel. The base of the signature is wedged on the basis of Microcred logo.
The logo position obeys the rules of the protection zone of the logo, defined in chapter 4.01.
Trade pictograms are justified on the width of the signature. They are wedged on top of the Microcred logo.
The signature, placed opposite, is always on the left and at a minimum height of 25 cm. It is centred within the width and the height of the space
The partner board is placed at the front on the left, the one of working hours on the right.
The outside facade is painted in Rubine Red; the Microcred logo is placed in a 25 ° bevelled text box on the building’s left side.
A neon sign is placed upright to the facade, completes the signage. Trade pictograms are conveniently placed on the left or right of the front door, at eye level, that is to say, centered in the front height of the facade. The partner board is placed on the left of the entry. The one for working hours is placed on the right side of the entry The welcome words are written vertically on the front door, the full height of the door.
2. Outdoor decoration: short facade and corner of the building The rules are the same as for a long façade, except for the signature and symbols.

When the branch is located in a street corner and has two common walls, the blank wall is decorated with a frieze of pictograms and the logo in its bevelled text box. If the wall has openings (windows, doors) a decoration similar to the one of the facade is applied.
3. Outdoor decoration: multi-story building (minimum 3 stories) A multi-story building has its first floor painted in Microcred Grey, the other floors in Rubine Red. The logo is centred in the width of the facade; the signature is placed on the left of the frieze of pictograms on the right, in the proportions set henceforth:

1. Front The volume part is painted in white. The Micocred logo and its baseline are placed in the upper part, highlighted by three pictograms, justified on the width of the logo. A partner board 60x80 cm is placed at the left of the entrance. The panel of working hours 40 x 60 cm is placed at the right of the glass door. The welcome word is placed on the height of the left door, upright.

PHOTOGRAPHY Using photographs plays an important role in Microcred’s public and institutional communication. Photos must comply with certain rules and match precise specific technical features tailored to the media. 1. Professional photographs They should focus on Microcred potential clients: - Through portraits. The look of the subject should be given special attention and suggest trust and optimism. It can lock the focus or look-over, but always with intensity and emotion. - Through images representing potential customers in the context of their work, the decor should explicitly suggest the trade.
2. Photographs taken by employees You may want to take pictures during your activities to illustrate actions or demonstrate the work being done. For that purpose, certain rules must be followed without exception, in order to make pictures usable, both technically and artistically, whether taken with a smartphone or a digital camera.
Quality of the picture 1. Optimize resolution Adjust the resolution of your photos to the highest quality in terms of resolution, so that the photos are usable and printable. Digital photos are taken with at least a resolution of 3 megapixel native file at least 2000 pixels by 1500. 2. Clean your lens (phone or camera) With a small cloth (clean). 3. Use flash outdoors, not indoors. LED flashes equipped in smartphones are not 102

going to help you improve the quality of your shots, and can produce blurred or inaccurate pictures indoors. Outside, however, the flash can help you light up a subject if you are against the light, for example. 4. Banish the digital zoom. Stabilize your camera Remember to hold your camera or smartphone with both hands to have better stability, and then set the exposure and focus 6. Avoid filters The pictures will be edited during production by professionals. 7. Get inspired by the work of photographers Web resources are plentiful, so do not hesitate to use those that seem most useful. 8. Avoid shooting in low light
Picture framing 1. Do not focus Centering your subject in the picture is not a good reflex. Force yourself to off-centre your subject in your frame. This shift will often make the reading of the picture more interesting and much less flat.

2. Enhance the decor The pictures that you will take will be enhanced by the location where your model will stand. Give importance to the decor as it brings extra interest to your images. 3. Get close One of the most common mistakes of photographers is to not get close to the subject. Because of that, we lose the details about the person and we add elements of no interest. We must not forget that in photography, the framework is necessary to convey a message: you need to go to the essential. 4. Speak with your subject Taking pictures can be seen as an exchange. Feel free to talk to the model throughout the shooting. 5. Multiply the shots It is rare to get a good picture at the first shot. Explain first and foremost to your model that the shooting will take at least a few minutes.
Things to avoid While it is strongly recommended to use pictures to support your messages, use of a picture that is unclear in terms of quality or subject, can hinder the clarity of your message and cause harm to the image of Microcred. If there is no high quality, clear and powerful picture available, it is advisable to create an illustration made from a typographic process, rather than a model based on photography. • Avoid static pictures of buildings. • Avoid photographs of panels, discussions, meetings and conferences, particularly when the point is not on people. • Avoid photographs in which the activity is not clear, no emotion is shown, and where individuals simply stand or are in front of a wall.
6. Manage the blur Photography has a major advantage: the management of the depth of field. Tune to focus and decide what will be in in focus and what will be blurred. This is important because this technique will be used to draw attention to what you want. Be careful in the case of a portrait; strive to achieve excellent sharpness on the eyes of the model.
