Apprenticeships

If you are aged over 16 and are leaving, or have left full-time education, an Apprenticeship lets you earn as you learn. As an Apprentice you will be trained in skills you need for the career you have chosen, whilst you work towards a qualification. Your employer will pay your wages and give you ‘on the job training’.

Food Preparation, Health and Social Care, Hospitality and Catering, IT Support, Motor Vehicle and Management and Team Leading. Also Hair and Beauty and Teaching Assistants (subject to approval).

Mid Cheshire College will provide you with additional training and guidance to enable you to attain the Key Skills, QCF and Technical Certificate which make up the Apprenticeship qualification.

You can register on the vacancy matching website at www.apprenticeships.org.uk and you will have the opportunity to look at vacancies from employers.

First, you will need to decide which career suits you best! There is an Apprenticeship in most areas of industry, commerce and business, including Accounting, Business Administration, Child Care, Customer Service, Engineering,

Getting paid while you learn might sound too good to be true – but as an Apprentice you really do get the best of both worlds.

Discover what it takes to go further Call the Employer Services Team on 01606 720643 or 01606 74444. 9
