Overview Mesorah Matrix is a major (and potentially landmark) intellectual-spiritualphilosophical endeavor. The ultimate goal is to publish 10 separate books – each on a very focused Jewish theme – under the Mesorah Matrix umbrella. 150 - 180 leading authors/essayists globally will be involved in the decade-spanning project. The focused purpose and raison d’etre of the series is to more fully draw-out the spiritual and transcendent embedded within Judaism. These are sometimes referred to as Elyonoth or “Higher-Sphere” themes. The intent of the unique 10-volume series is to be “transformational.” Each of the 10 books (themes) will have approximately 20 essays – each by a separate essayist/author. The publisher is seeking vibrant and erudite pieces for this major endeavor from Judaism’s elite across the global spectrum. The Editor-in-Chief of the overall series is David Birnbaum of Manhattan, author of the Summa Metaphysica philosophy series (independent of Mesorah Matrix). [see www.Philosophy1000.com]. Senior Editor Martin S. Cohen has emerged as a dayto-day partner with David Birnbaum, and as a major force in the overall endeavor. Mesorah Matrix, in turn, is under the greater umbrella of New Paradigm Matrix Publishing [see www.NewParadigmMatrix.com] which exclusively publishes “cuttingedge” works in metaphysics, philosophy, history and now, spirituality. Works by New Paradigm Matrix - and its authors - are Course Texts at major universities around the world. All volumes will be available via three modalities: (a) In 6˝ x 9˝ softcover via Amazon (b) in flip-book form gratis online on this site and (c) in eBook form. The prime nonAmazon distributor is J Levine / MILLENNIUM. Editors include Benjamin Blech, Saul J. Berman, and Shalom Carmy. Shake the World ; )

About the Editors David Birnbaum is a philosophical writer, historical chronicler and conceptual theorist. His first work God and Evil (KTAV, 1988) is considered by many to be a breakthrough modern day classic in the field of theodicy. See God-And-Evil.com. Editor-in-Chief Birnbaum is known globally as “the architect of Potentialism Theory” – a unified philosophy/cosmology/metaphysics. The paradigm-challenging theory (see ParadigmChallenge.com) is delineated in Birnbaum’s 3-volume Summa Metaphysica series (1988, 2005, 2014). See Philosophy1000.com. A riposte to Summa Theologica of (St.) Thomas Aquinas, the Birnbaum treatise challenges both the mainstream Western philosophy of Aristotelianism and the well propped-up British/atheistic cosmology of Randomness. See Potentialism Theory.com. The focus of 150+ reviews/articles, Summa Metaphysica has been an assigned Course Text at over 15 institutions of higher learning globally. See SummaCoverage.com. Summa Metaphysica was the focus of an international academic conference on Science & Religion in April 16-19 2012 (see Conference1000.com). The work has been very widely covered globally. See RewindSumma.com. David Birnbaum is the Editor-in-Chief of the Mesorah Matrix series on Jewish thought and spirituality. The sui generis series spans 10-volumes and 10 themes. The entire series is comprised of 200+ specially commissioned original pieces from 150-180 global Jewish thought leader essayists. See Mesorah1000.com. In the history realm, David Birnbaum is the author/chronicler of the 2-volume The Crucifixion – of the Jews, and of the 7-volume Jews, Church & Civilization. His Crucifixion series, in particular, traces a direct trajectory from the Canonical Gospels in the First Century to Auschwitz in the Twentieth. See History1000.com. David Birnbaum has served on the faculty of the New School for Social Research in Manhattan. He is a graduate of Yeshiva University High School (Manhattan), CCNY (City College of New York) and Harvard. His commentary blog is www.ManhattanObserver.com. See also David1000.com

From 2000-2014, he served as Chairman of the Editorial Board of the quarterly journal Conservative Judaism, which was published under the joint auspices of the Jewish Theological Seminary and the Rabbinical Assembly. Rabbi Cohen also served as the senior editor of The Observant Life, a landmark compendium of Jewish law and custom published by the Rabbinical Assembly in 2012. His weekly blog can be viewed at www.TheRuminativeRabbi.blogspot.com. He has served as rabbi of the Shelter Rock Jewish Center in Roslyn, New York, since 2002. Rabbi Cohen was educated at the City University of New York and at the Jewish Theological Seminary, where he was ordained a rabbi and received his Ph.D. in Ancient Judaism. He is the recipient of fellowships at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in 1983 and Harvard University in 1993. Martin Cohen has taught at Hunter College, the Jewish Theological Seminary, the Institute for Jewish Studies of the University of Heidelberg, as well as at the University of British Columbia and the Vancouver School of Theology. His published works include The Boy on the Door on the Ox (2008) and Our Haven and Our Strength: A Translation and Commentary on the Book of Psalms (2004), as well as four novels and four books of essays. Rabbi Cohen is currently writing a translation and commentary on the Torah and the Five Megillot.
