Topp Herefords—Crossbreeding Solutions
» Topp Herefords makes crossbreeding easy—consistently improving net profits in commercial Angus herds. On average, commercial Angus herds can expect a 5 percent increase in weaning weights from heterosis. If the average cow raises seven calves, in today’s market that’s an additional $488 in gross revenue. Multiply that by a herd of 250 cows and you are adding $122,000 to the bottom line without additional inputs. Can you afford not to crossbreed?
» Curious about how other cattlemen are making crossbreeding work at scale? Call Topp Herefords, 701.674.3152.

SHOOTIN' THE BULL with
Interview, Photography & Artwork by Derek Sample. Derek@ABPmag.com
Derek: Hi Kevin, Lynette and Shanon. Thanks for meeting with me. Could you introduce yourselves?
Kevin: My name is Kevin Thompson. My wife, Lynette and I live in Almont, North Dakota, about 50 miles southwest of Bismarck.
Shanon: My name is Shanon Erbele. My husband Gabe and I have six children, one son and five daughters. Kevin and Lynette are my parents. We now own and operate a second location of TNT Simmentals north of Lehr, North Dakota.
D: 6 children? Really?
Shanon: Yes! And Mom and Dad have 4 and 15 grandkids!
D: Wow, ok. Are you running a zoo?
Shanon: Yeah, pretty much feels that way most days!
D: OK, that’s settled. So, you're all are running TNT Simmentals together. Tell us more.
Kevin: We started with 360 to calve, but I can’t sell cows fast enough to make my wife happy. <laughs>
D: I hear that. Your program is growing by leaps & bounds, and you aren’t even tryin’ to!
Kevin: We’ll probably calve around 250 and still have around 120 replacements.
D: When is your calving season?
Shanon: This year, we’re set to calve about 450 registered cows with a few commercials that raise ET's. We also have about 200 replacement heifers right now that we will put out to pasture. We're hoping to also run some TNT influence commercial heifers this summer to breed and sell this fall.
Shanon: We’ll start about the 10th of March. We’re both set to start simultaneously, and it will run through the end of April. It will be hectic for a while.
D: No kidding. Are they all Simmentals, or are you running crosses with other breeds?
Shanon: We run both black and red Purebred Simmental and SimAngus, and then we also run Purebred Red Angus as well.
D: Are they all registered?
Shanon: Yes, they’re all registered through the American Simmental Association.
D: I’d love to hear how you got started, especially considering you’re managing a sizable operation across two locations with a two-hour drive between them.
Kevin: Well, then this will take six hours! <laughs>
D: Tell me all about it. I love hearing everybody’s stories and want to know more of what you’re up to.
Kevin: To start with some history, I grew up on a cowcalf feedlot operation in Iowa. During the farm crisis in ’76, my folks sold the farm and moved to Minnesota. I worked daily on the ranch and later went to college at Crookston, majoring in animal science with a minor in swine management. I thought pig farming would require less capital than ranching, so I interned at North Dakota's largest hog farm and decided to stay on after the internship instead of returning to college. My goal was always to go independent, and the farm owner incentivized me by offering pasture use. I took out a loan and bought 30 black baldy cows, two registered Simmental cows, and a bull from my friend Roger Fink at SRF Simmentals. That’s where I met Lynette. We married in 1980, moved to Iowa with our cows, and spent five years working for others while building our herd until we had enough to start independently.
but a severe drought in Montana in ’85 made things challenging. Around that time, we even considered becoming missionaries and interviewed for a job in Saint Ignatius, a beautiful area north of Missoula.
D: I’ve been there. It’s a gorgeous place.
D: How many cows were enough for you to decide to start on your own?
Kevin: That’s a crazy story. We managed a Simmental ranch nearby for two years before the owner’s boss in Montana begged us to return, offering more money and free keep for up to 70 cows. So, we moved there,
Kevin: It sure is. The guy, Gary Siemens, had about 100 cows but never confirmed if we got the job. So, we called a banker in North Dakota who helped us start
on our own. He told us about a repossessed farmstead for rent with feed available, and we moved to Almont, where we still live. Later, Gary called, doubling his offer and offering to move our cows back, but I told him this was our chance to be independent. He then asked if I wanted to buy his cows. I didn’t have the money, so I offered 10% down on a 3-year contract at 10% interest, and he agreed. Meanwhile, two other breeders were selling due to drought, and we bought two potloads of cows. With Gary’s cows, we were set and hosted our first bull sale in ’86. By 2000, “The Explosive Difference” bull sale moved to the ranch and has been a top sale nationwide ever since.
D: Wow, it sounds like many things fell into play.
Kevin: Many good things happened at the right time, and we paid Gary off after our first bull sale. With his contract, it was possible. He was good to us, and the banker in Elgin loaned us money for the two potloads of cows, using the cows themselves as collateral. Though other banks saw us as too risky, the FHA gave us a break. In 1988, the owner of our rented place wanted to sell it and encouraged us to buy it. At the time, we rented a house with 20 acres but needed a headquarters. FHA offered 40-year loans at 6% interest, which made it feasible. By ’87, we rented 5,000 acres within 7 miles because no one else wanted it. Back then, I prayed for two things: to farm independently and meet my wife.
worked in our favor. Our first sale became the highest selling in the state that year, and starting with great cows set the foundation for everything that followed.
D: Well, the big guy above sure came through!
Kevin: Yes, he sure did. It took time for me to call them my cows, but it felt good when I finally did. Looking back, it was a blessing in disguise. We went into seed stock because we needed a product with added value to stand out. Selling bulls brought in about four times the price of a steer. Being in North Dakota, where Simmental was already popular,
D: Weren’t Simmentals starting to get big back then? Especially on the feedlots?
Kevin: Yep, that’s why we did so well. We had great cattle, and everything fell into place. When that happened, I told our FHA loan officer that to succeed, I needed to produce solid-colored cattle and buy a non-diluter bull. He nearly fell out of his chair when I said it would cost around $20,000!
D: Today, I think $20k would be about double nickels.
Kevin: The banker agreed that I knew what I was doing, but he couldn’t loan me $20,000. But he’d let me sell enough cows to take the money and buy the right bull.
D: What was the right bull back then? There were quite a few big names back then that I remember hearing about as a kid, but I don’t remember any these days.
Kevin: We bought ER Americana, and it was a crazy experience. At that sale, you had to put your name on what you wanted to bid on. Ansel Armstrong and I planned to partner on a few, so I put my name on Americana, but he didn’t. To my surprise, I ended up
Kevin & Lynette Thompson, Shanon's parents
buying him for $12,500. Ansel immediately asked to buy 60% of him, which was a no-brainer. Being young and inexperienced, my mistake was not keeping a few straws for myself. We sold everything because the demand was so high. When people ask me for advice, my first tip is always to keep some for yourself.
D: How did it end up going with Americana?
Kevin: He was a big deal then, one of the most popular bulls, and owning him brought people to us. It got easier once we started making money and had a clear vision. We were among the first to change the breed's color—not because we wanted to but because it was the right move. Being early adopters brought even more demand, and we began hosting regular sales at our ranch instead of at barns in Bismarck and Mandan.
Traffic at our place was crazy, and it paid off, though it was more work. My wife made me promise our 25th sale in 2009 would be the last—yet next month, on February 14th, we’ll host our 40th! <laughs>
D: It’s still going! Well, you do use the word ‘Explosive’ in the title, so now that makes even more sense since you’re growing so much every year.
Kevin: Yes. At our 25th sale, I sold half the cows. Over time, Shanon, showed interest and bought 60 Red Angus cows from Nebraska. We put embryos in them, and Shanon and Gabe took over raising our embryos for us. Their family loved having cows and started buying registered ones from me, then selling some in our annual sales. By our 35th sale, we planned to quit and have a dispersal, but Shanon and
Gabe decided to take over—that’s where we are today.
D: When did you start having the sale over at Shanon’s ranch in Lehr?
Shanon: The first sale in Lehr was in 2022, the 37th Annual. The transition kind of began in 2014. We started with the Nebraska cows, raising embryos for Dad’s operation. With the income from those, we bought some of his registered cows to get started and continued buying more each year as we generated revenue. Eventually, we began selling a few bulls in his sale annually. Over time, the split became 75/25, and Mom and Dad decided to step back.
D: Time to hand over the reins…
Shanon: Yes. I have a sister that loves cattle like I do, but she didn't have the opportunity to take over a working ranch like we did. We had the manpower to manage it without relying on Mom and Dad. We started buying in, focusing on their best young cows with bull calves. In 2020, we purchased 90 of their best young cows, quickly growing our herd. We’re selling around 130 bulls this year, and with high customer demand, that's still not enough bulls!
D: That’s quite a change from where you were, even 5 years ago.
Shanon: Yes, starting from 60 cows in 2014 with 0 being registered to now where we will be calving 470 in March. So, we’re kind of at the max we can handle here. We have about 370 due in a 12-day time frame, so it will be pure chaos during those first days.
out. The camera systems have been a game changer for us since we are short on help during calving. Hopefully, our two older kids are able to help out over spring break to give us a break!
D: Do you plan on growing your herd any bigger? From what I’ve heard from both of you, it seems necessary. Kevin: Well, currently, we have a total of over 700 between Shanon and me.
D: Craziness. Everybody’s calving days are over the top busy, and rightly so. Then it’s such a celebration when all is done. The success of calving season is so crucial to each ranch on its own.
Shanon: We started with a feedlot and no calving barns. Soon after bringing in cow-calf pairs, we had to build several barns. This winter, we're doubling the size of one barn, and building a 300-foot hoop barn. That will make six barns we’ve built in recent years. You can’t calve in March in North Dakota without proper shelter. <laughs>
D: Do you have help during calving season?
Shanon: Our kids love to help with calving when their busy school and sports allow. Gabe's brothers handle most of the feeding chores so we can concentrate on the cattle. We run lots of cameras, which really helps
Shanon: We sell 130 bulls and around 70 private treaty. It's all about customer service—making sure everyone is happy. We keep back some top bulls to have in reserve for rissues like a bull getting injured or not semen testing. We want to be able to provide options similar to what they purchased. Those
Shanon Erbele greeting the ND Stockmen Tour, October 1st
customers get first choice. Then our loyal customers get next choice.
Kevin: Lots of friends call it the Walmart pen. They’re younger bulls and didn’t make the sale, but they’re still way too good, and those customers are always really happy with them every year. We don’t sell any of them until we’ve semen tested the bulls in the sale and know where we’re at. Shanon will post something about them on Facebook the beginning of May and they move fairly quickly. We do like to have some around into July in case someone's bull gets hurt.
Shanon: Many customers buy 2 or 3 in the sale and then they'll say they need 2 or 3 out of the private treaty pen; we'll deliver 5 or 6 bulls to the same guy. That works out well for all of us!
D: Everybody’s happy that way.
Shanon: Last year, Dad calved 250, and we calved 400. So, out of around 320 bulls, we sold almost 200 of them as bull calves. I'm proud of the quality we can raise from top to bottom of what's in the bull offering every year. I think our top end cow herd makes that possible.
Kevin: We’ve been lucky to have traffic in our
bullpen before sales, though it’s far less now with online platforms like DV Auction. While online sales are great, we miss the face time to guide customers and understand their needs. That feedback also helps us plan breeding strategies. We focus on strong maternal traits and performance, staying ahead of the curve to remain a leader for 40 years.
D: You’ve stayed with Simmental all these years, even as black-hided cows have become as popular as they are. Knowing that the breed is a strong contender, what drives you to stay with Simmentals?
Kevin: I transitioned to solid-colored cattle in the early 90's. Many customers used Red Angus bulls on yellow-and-white Simmental cows, producing phenomenal red blaze-faced calves. Everyone loved them, but they still wanted Simmental for added weight. While black-hide cattle bring premiums now at sale barns and feedlots, I won’t abandon red cattle— they hold a special place for me, and demand remains high. If we expand, it’ll likely be more on the black side, as more customers want higher-percentage Simmental with the body, depth, and thickness our cattle are known for.
D: Yep, that’s a good plan. OK, let’s get to another question. Shanon, have you ever faced any challenges as a woman in this business?
Shanon: Yes and no. I'm a strong-willed, driven woman that has learned a lot from my dad. There are definitely some guys that were not sure about talking to me in the beginning, but now they see that I'm very like minded to my father and are happy to visit with me on the bulls. They can see I know my cattle.
D: Did you always have a love for cattle growing up?
Shanon: Oh yes! I grew up in my dad's back pocket. I was the kid that kept reinvesting my money back into more cows and grew my herd quite quickly. When I left for college, I owned about 20 cows. I sold my herd back to Dad, since I'd be gone for four years and couldn't contribute as needed. My passion for cattle remained, but I studied accounting, business and computers, earning a double major and a minor, hoping to become a CPA—just like my mom did before she joined the ranch.
always on the computer—researching bulls, analyzing cow data like weaning and yearling weights, and deciding which to keep or cull. Even in high school, I managed Mom and Dad’s website, calving books, and ASA entries, and it never stopped. I also worked on sale catalogs and took photos and videos starting from a young age, and we still handle all that ourselves.
D: So, you came back right after college?
Shanon: No, I worked for a CPA office for the current president of Jamestown College, and her husband’s accounting firm for four years. After college, I returned to work for Mom and Dad to see if we wanted to take over, but in 2004, it wasn’t the right time. Dad wasn’t ready to let go, and Gabe and I weren’t ready for the adjustment. In 2008, we moved back to help Gabe’s cousin and manage yearlings at his parent's place, and in 2014, we returned to the cow-calf side with Mom and Dad. This taught us to manage things independently, which made for a better transition. I still call Dad multiple times daily for advice— why make the same mistakes when I can learn from him?
D: How did you meet your husband, Gabe?
Shanon: I ended up meeting him through a mutual friend that bought bulls from us and was Gabe's classmate. We both ended up going to Jamestown College together. We’ve now been married 22 years and have six kids. Two are in college: Trenton, who is studying electrical technology and business finance, and our daughter Teagan is at NDSU, studying animal science and ag education. The younger four are in 8th, 5th, 1st grade, and kindergarten at Napoleon.
D: Holy cow. It sounds like the older ones are studying what can be helpful back at the ranch.
D: Great. Families with one who has skills as an accountant do so much better than the ones who don’t. Hiring out for that kind of help can be expensive and exhausting.
Shanon: Yes, I use my college skills a lot today. There’s constant bookwork on the registered side, and I’m
Shanon: Remember that terrible winter we had 2-3 years ago? Trenton swore he’d never return, so he pursued electrical work. He’s great with numbers and hands-on work, very like minded to me, but now he misses the ranch and realizes it's what he wants. He’ll graduate with his electrical degree in December and finish business finance by May. Our daughter Teagan has a passion for cattle and advocating for agriculture. She was recently named a US Presidential Scholar, one of just 160 out of 3.7 million graduating seniors nationwide—a huge honor. She’s also a state FFA
officer with a knack for connecting with people. Our 3rd daughter, who is only 14, has already told me I’ve got 10 years before she takes over. She has a sharp eye for cattle and helps me make decisions.
D: Do you have a nametag for her with 'The Boss' written on it?
Shanon: Better than that, her nickname is Bossy Dawsy.
D: She sounds like someone everyone needs to know in this business. Next question: do you have any political thoughts you want to share? Everybody does these days, and you’re free to discuss.
Kevin: I have a Trump flag flying below the American flag in our yard. But I probably wouldn’t hang it in the sale barn since we have some good friends and customers that aren't fans of Trump. The majority think like Republicans, and we appreciate them all.
D: No TDS? (Trump Derangement Syndrome)
Kevin: Nope. We’re conservative, and Shanon’s family is the same. Gabe’s Dad was a state senator. I’m not scared to say what I think, but the real positive is how the election went; it is one of the few times we’ve hit a high like this, and it could last a while. The economy is going to be heading in the right direction. Beef is a luxury right now, but people will go out and enjoy buying beef. In the past, some farmers tended to lean to the left because farm payments were better, but now they're more Republican. The far left has gone crazy.
Shanon: I was thinking about your question about being a woman in this industry. Women often take on more family responsibilities—raising kids, house chores, and managing the chaos! Growing up, my mom helped on the farm but didn’t have Dad's cattle knowledge. I grew up with cattle from the beginning, so I work directly with customers, showing them cattle and bulls, talking on the phone, kind of running the role of the typical male along with being a mom of six. It can be overwhelming. You balance kids, family, and the business, setting priorities carefully. For example, our school is 25 miles away, and our kids are involved in everything because that's what you do in a class B school. I’m the 4H council president, 4H leader, Sunday school teacher, and archery instructor, and I don’t want to have to give those things up.
When people would come visit to look at the bulls before the sale, my mom would always cook for them. Now, I’m the one showing the bulls to the customers, which makes it harder to handle both roles.
D: People are more open-minded these days, but more is needed. Women are the only reason we still have an industry; they are the core that keeps us all bound together.
D: Agreed. It's insanity, pure and simple.
Shanon: I have a friend, Erica Kenner, from Kenner Simmentals. She and I are very much the same. You would think we were sisters because we are driven and motivated, and she runs her operation really well. We talk to each other a lot and support each other through it all, because we have both experienced interactions
that are a bit harder when you’re a female. Some of those guys don’t want to listen to you or take your advice, so it’s nice to have her to lean on.
Kevin: We're told that we’re too honest sometimes, which is good because we believe in customer service.
Shanon: We don’t hide flaws in our cattle. If a cow isn’t perfect, we let buyers know because we want them to be happy with their purchase. Customers appreciate that honesty, and it keeps them coming back. One customer has bought from us for 39 years, and I expect they’ll buy again, but that's because they trust our product and the people behind it. Honesty and going the extra mile pay off. Before every sale, I tell the ringmen and auctioneer—no air bids, no fake bids, no bidding up customers. We value our customers, and they value our honesty.
D: Yeah, I often hear horror stories. That’s a great move on your part.
Kevin: Most bidding is online now, and we use DV Auction because they’re the best. Some still prefer phone bids, but we stopped running bulls through the ring during COVID and kept it that way. Customers who once insisted on seeing bulls in the ring now bid from home by the fireplace. It took time to transition, but it works better. We clip and photograph for the catalog earlier, then video the bulls closer to the sale. We handle everything ourselves—clipping, photos, videos, and catalog. On sale day, the bulls are penned behind our facility so people can still see them, and they can check out the dam if she’s around.
D: DV and the rest have turned the whole industry around. Besides some growing pains, it’s becoming more the norm than the exception.
So, let’s get another question in: are there any local or national organizations you like to support?
Kevin: The local North Dakota Stockmen are amazing.
D: Yes, I agree with that one. I hear that a lot.
Shanon: We’ve been members of the North Dakota Stockmen’s Association and Farm Bureau since moving here, and both are great organizations. We’re also deeply involved with FFA and 4H, serving as 4H leaders for years, just like Mom and Dad. FFA teaches lifelong skills you won’t get from sports. My daughter didn’t want to join at first, especially after her first heifer ran off during a show, but she stuck with it and now says it’s the best decision she’s made. Teagan even gave a speech about her journey to get her state FFA nomination and now loves advocating for agriculture.
D: She’s impressive and someone to be proud of. Let’s get another question: Ford, Chevy or Dodge?
Shanon: I’ve had them all. I currently run a GMC and have been real happy with it. It does a good job pulling.
D: I’m considering picking up a GMC now, after my new F150 died quite quickly and Ford bought it back.
Do you have anything you'd like to do that’s still on your bucket list?
Shanon: Oh, I love hunting. My passion is cattle, and then the next is hunting. I have the state record for a woman for an elk that I shot in 2007. I love archery
hunting. I shot a bear while hunting with my bow at a customer's place in WI. It was so much fun!
D: Wow, that's amazing.
Shanon: I love it, but with six kids and running the ranch, I mostly get out during rifle season and rarely with my bow. Big hunting trips are a passion of mine. My youngest just turned six, so I’m hoping I'll have more time as the kids get older—though grandkids might come along too, eventually! I’d love to go on a good elk hunt or head to Canada for caribou or moose. I’m obsessed with hunting! <laughs>
Kevin: We used to have people from Australia stop by our ranch. I want to go there. I’ve always wanted to go since the days of Crocodile Dundee. We’re not much for world travel, but that’s one place I’d like to go. Lynette would like to go to Jerusalem.
D: That sure sounds like fun. What about where you see yourselves in 10 years, on the ranch, life, etc.
Shanon: As I said, my 14-year-old daughter plans to kick me off the ranch by then. Ranch kids are unique—they know how to work and aren’t afraid of it, while also understanding the rewards. In 10 years, I hope some of our kids are back here, moving the ranch forward, and Mom and Dad are still guiding us. I still call them constantly for advice, which I even wrote into our contract when we bought the first 90 cows—they came with Dad’s advice for at least five years! <laughs>
takes to be successful in this occupation.
D: Do you have any advice for young people who want to raise and breed cattle?
Kevin: You can still start with nothing. It’s hard, but there’s opportunity. It would be best to have a spouse who understands and shares your goals, and you must be willing to make sacrifices early on. If I were 18 today, I’d find a way to start. Find a niche, take a chance, and think outside the box—even if it’s not your passion at first. We worked for others to build up a herd before going out alone. It’s possible if you’re willing to put in the effort.
D: You’re both lucky to have each other.
Kevin: TNT is in excellent hands, and she's learned a lot in the last 35 years, and more in the last 5. It happens for a reason, and they're doing a fantastic job. They occasionally need guidance, but Shanon impresses me more and more all the time. She has what it
Shanon: You must work hard in this business and keep your faith. Mom and Dad faced challenges like drought, grasshoppers, and scours, but it made us stronger and shaped who we are. Starting today is more challenging and costly, but faith and daily effort will get you through. When storms hit, others stay inside while ranchers are out with their cattle. It takes thick skin, but don’t give up—keep working hard.
Kevin: We’ve made our living with cattle, and that’s where my passion lies, though I enjoy farming too. With today’s technology, farming is easier—tractors practically drive themselves. Crops can get hailed out, but with cattle, you’re constantly improving genetics regardless of weather. Even if you have less hay, the genetics remain, and that’s the actual game. Your neighbor might get more rain, but it doesn’t mean his cattle will outshine yours.
D: Well said Kevin...well said Shanon: On the registered side, always keep a year’s worth of feed ahead for droughts. With genetics like ours, you can’t sell them during a drought and buy the same quality back— they’ve taken years to develop. Planning ensures you don’t have to cut back and lose top genetics you can’t replace.
D: Yeah, people need to remember that. Great point! I want to thank you for shootin’ the bull with me today. It has been enlightening, and I’m so glad to spend time with you both. Good luck with your sale on February 14th! —>

MAGAZINE
This one is in elite company when it comes to $CHB and IMF. His dam 8140 is a full sister to Guardians mother and they have the ability to pass so much carcass quality to offspring while still maintaining maternal excellence. This horned bull should be in high demand.
C 8019 SHERMAN 4196 ET
Without question this will be a pen bull for Denver and one that will have many fans. He has the body and build that we are looking for and a cow family behind him that makes him so easy to tie to and use hard as a herd sire. We feel this is one of the best Sherman sons available and some outcross genetics.
This Guardian son comes from a long line of great cow families being out of donor dam 8019. She is also the mother of a previous high selling bull Key West who is producing great females. Not only does he have the maternal package but he also is in the top 2% of the breed for $CHB and top 4% for IMF.
One of the best options in the offering for a double digit calving ease sire but still has the carcass numbers to put out a great set of feeding cattle. He is out of a first calf heifer that goes back to the Bailee cow family. Moderate sized, dark red and has lots of rib shape and muscle shape.
C 1101 ARLO 4201 ET
One of 3 full brothers in this offering sired by Arlo and out of the high selling female 1101 to GKB cattle in Texas. Some of his brothers have slightly better genomics but we feel this ones phenotype is the best. She is one if the breeds highest CHB cows that goes back to 8140 who is Bell Heirs full sister. Dark red and lots of pigment for generations.
This herd sire rises to the top of his contemporary group and is a true representation of the quality of the Republic sired cattle. He is out of a first calf heifer who is now a donor dam after weaning this bull with a 121 ratio. His EPD profile is so balanced where maternal and carcass traits are both combined into a phenotypic package that makes him so easy to find in a pen.
C SHERMAN 4189
This Sherman son should be on everyone’s short list. The nice thing about him is both young and old cattlemen can appreciate this kind. He is dark red and smooth made with just the right amount of size and shape. He was named Reserve Champion overall bull in Reno and we feel he will be the kind for the long haul.
4202 ET
This will be a pen bull for Denver and he will anchor a strong set that have not only the phenotype and look but also the EPD values that are in demand. Study his calving ease and birth values but then he is able to tickle a 200 $CHB. He is dark red and has the ability to enhance any breeding program and take it to the next level.
This one is a true genetic powerhouse on paper with jaw dropping indexes for both maternal and carcass quality. He has the highest combined value of any bull in the offering and is out of our strongest cow families. Tess 0166 has made a name for herself at a young age as she was also the donor dam of the high selling bull in the 2024 sale and the high selling Angus female in the fall sale.
