making corporate events happen
Dampened by Covid-19, corporate events are back in business. According to October’s annual ICE Report spending on events and brand experiences is expected to rise by 83% in 2023. This is good news for profit margins because events engage existing customers and cultivate new ones.
Behind every corporate event, different elements work together to make it a success. Keynote speakers, product demos, award ceremonies and networking, are usually the headline acts. But behind the scenes, there’s another important act keeping everything in place.
Document solutions are the unsung heroes of event management. Devices such as printers and scanners may not have the glamour associated with other aspects of event management. But they play an important supporting role. And, without them, events wouldn’t function.
Organisation and logistics form the backbone of events management. From maps, tickets and data collection sheets to programs, save-thedate postcards and invitations, printers make planning a reality.
Event attendees love swag. They love it even more if it’s personalised. 3D printers are ideal for printing customised promotional goods to help you stand out from the crowd.
A business event is an opportunity to promote your brand. Corporate collateral plays a big part in this. Whether it’s posters, flyers, brochures or one-sheets, handouts, banners, or stickers (or all of the above) a good printer will have it covered.
Then there’s networking. Corporate events are as much about who’s who as they are about what’s what. Lanyards, badges, labels and business cards make connections and conversations happen.
Evaluation is an important part of the event lifecycle. To establish ROI, you need to find out how many people attended your event and what sessions. Which means having a device that can print barcodes on labels, tickets or other documentation. A portable scanner with Wi-Fi can decode and relay data back to your networked device.
In short, events wouldn’t work without the right document solutions. Time for them to take centre stage? We think so.
