NEGRESS-CAKE Ingredients -1 1/2 cup sugar, 1 1/2 cup flour, 1 cup milk, 1 cup oil - 5 eggs. 3-4 tablespoons of cocoa - 6 tablespoons of ground nuts - A bag of vanilla sugar. A sachet of baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon salt - A cup full of large pieces of walnut Method. In a saucepan mix sugar + vanilla sugar + cocoa, then gradually add milk + oil, until smooth well. Place on the fire and let it to a boil. From this mixture a cup stops. The remaining composition is allowed to cool, after which it incorporates, in turn, the 5 egg yolks, stirring constantly. Then add ground nuts, flour, egg whites and baking powder off with a little lemon juice. It includes the composition of walnut pieces.
The composition is poured into greased with butter and line with baking paper and bake in preheated oven at moderate heat, ~ 25-30 minutes, until toothpick test passes. When almost done, remove the pan from the oven, pour over crust remaining cocoa cream and spread with the back of a spoon all over the cake and then put back in the oven and bake for ~ 10 minutes on low heat.
