Since you already have JCal Pro component and minical module installed on your site I will start this tutorial by installing other needed module. Just follow images and you should have ready solution in few minutes.
Now that you installed needed module we will use one trick in Joomla. Since you have flash top menu, it would be difficult to show module on certain pages from top menu. To be able to show module on such pages we will create dummy menu, publish it to dummy module position and set parameter to „Upcoming events“ module to show on this pages.
In the „Link“ input box put just link behind domain name and not the whole URL. So, put index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=24&Itemid=76 instead of http://www.vejlemusikskole.dk/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=24&Itemid=76
Do the same for all pages that you wish to show different „Upcoming events“ modules. Now, we will add dummy module position in template.
Find our dummy menu and click on it to edit:
Leave „Categories“ input box empty to show all event from all categories on homepage:
We have now our „Upcoming events“. We will copy this module so we can configure this new copy to be shown on different page with different events:
We need to find category ID of other categories in Jcal Pro so we can show different events on different pages:
Here you can see how „Upcoming events“ looks like on homepage:
And if you go to „Holdoversigt“ page you will notice that „Upcoming events“ are different:
Now all that is left is to define right categories and assign them to “Upcoming events” modules that you will show on certain pages.
