Exhibition may 15 - june 15 - 2013 at Halsnoy Kloster

The island without a shore The work for this exhibition was created during an invited artist in residence stay at the Halnoy Kloster in June 2012. “The island without a shore” is a series of still images, video, and silver gelatin lumen prints which attempt to immerse the body into the landscape and explore its relationship with time and weather. In french language, the word “le temps” is a homophony which means both “time” and “weather”. This work links these two concepts. The long days of the Summer solstice, its duration of light and the constant change in weather accrues on the body. Over time, its physical effects is palpable. View of the exhibition
