Energy Consultant EPSILON ENERGY consultants, a fast-growing sustainability and building services consultancy based in the Isle of Man, is seeking to appoint an energy consultant with a passion for applying your skills to reduce the energy overheads of our clients. The team work on a range of core disciplines across sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, commercial, and also the public sector carrying out forward energy strategies, thermographic investigations, wind & solar monitoring, energy monitoring and air tightness testing. You will have a Masters in environmental design, sustainability or similar. Working towards membership of a recognised professional engineering institution is also a requirement of the post. A buildings-related degree with an engineering bias will also be seen as beneficial. Day to day responsibilities will include:
Thermographic surveying Wind & solar monitoring Energy monitoring Air tightness testing and certification Building services design Writing concise technical reports Low and zero carbon technologies feasibility studies Project management
The candidate must demonstrate a keen interest in low carbon design and take an active interest in the energy efficiency industry. The individual must also fulfil the following criteria:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Highly motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious.
Experience in dealing with architects and clients.
Demonstrate knowledge of the relevant Industry Standards.
