Teacher thoughts about the project Daphne Gavrili, Athens, Greece “I am very happy to have participated in this project. My students got very interested in the various places. They searched to find details about the places before they decided. They were all very happy and I also had the chance to teach them how to work with a picture and transform it. We wished to have some more time to make some more stories. Overall it was a very good program and I wish we will work together again.“

It gave my students oportunity to learn about different cultures and to choose the country they want to find out more about. Our regular classroom activities were enriched with practical and fun use of peer photos and use of English.“

Though this creative process they have been able to develop a story starting from zero and another one thanks to the help of the other students. a tour through Tulcea

Economic Coleague „Danube Delta”, Tulcea - ROMANIA

It was a beautiful day. Özge, Selinay and Duygu decided to meet at the Ataturk Park. In the Ataturk Park everywhere was gren and the air was so fresh. There are pools, cafés and playgrounds. The park makes everyone feel peaceful. They met and they started to have talk while they were walking to Zeytin Café.

After a while, they arrived but the café was so crowded as usuall. They saw a emptytable but it was at the corner. But they love spending time here so they sit. Then, özge saw a door that they have never seen. Özge wondered what is behind the door. And she suddenly got into the door. Selinay and Duygu shocked and they waited a while for Özge to come back. But she didn’t so they went after her.

Duygu and Selinay surprised because they were at Saat Kulesi! The door was a gate for travelling all around Balıkesir! Saat kulesi was high and magnificiant. It is standing since 19. century. It was magical but they scared so they wanted to come back to Zeytin Café. Suddenly, they found them selves at the Zeytin café. It means when they want to come back, they are coming back! It was like a game.

They loved it and they wanted do it again. This time, they were at Zağnos Paşa Mosque. Zağnos Paşa Mosque has a farmidable structure. They saw historical graves. They admire here. They felt like they are touching history. But it was time to go somewhere else.

They had an arguement and finally they decided to go to Kazdağları. The thing that they saw was stunning beauty. They came across a waterfall named Hasan Boğuldu. Selinay said: “The air is so clean.”

They were at an island which is called Cunda and it has historical houses, great sea and shining sun. They visited colourful bazaar. They ate icecream from famous icecream shop. They arrived to seaside, watched the sunset. There came the time for turn back.

This time they are at Altınoluk. Altınoluk has gorgeous seaside. They went to the beach and swam. When they got tired, they went to kumpir shop. While girls were talking about their trip Duygu suddenly remembered their chemistry homework. “We should go to school” shouted Duygu. Then they found themselves at school. “Oh, no!” said girls together.

Stop comlaining about spending half of your day at school.Because we’re at school at nights either!Our dormitory and school are shaving the same garden and we come back to school for studying at noons.It’s boring!

Our school is based on science education and experiments at labs can be dangerous sometimes.

Cem:Why do we lock this door while school intruduce ? Yiğitalp:Last year one of the students saw these dead animals and bug collections and posted out. Cem:Oh I didn’t know that. Yiğitalp:It was hilarious our. Cem:But our sitiation is serious. Yiğitalp:Teacher !

Some people complain about having meals alone.But we’re so lucky that we have own meals a big,crowded dinning hole ?

Hobbies and sports

One day, I came to our school hall and I didn’t believe in my eyes! The school was gone! I saw my friends was standingat the school garden. I called my best friends and we spoke to each other and then we noticed a crack at the ground. The track was growing and growing. We entered to crack and we saw a girl. She spoke to us. “ If you want to find your school, you must follow the steps.” And I asked “What will we do?” Girl “ you will follow this path. You must complete your duties to find your school. Every step has another ability to complete your duty.

First you will see your music room. If you play a music instrument in here, you can bring your school back and then you will see tennis court. If you win the match, your sports hall will come back. And last step, you will see your dinning hall. You should cook in here. If it is good, you can back your dinning hall.

We started to do our duties. We were five people and we seperated in groups, so we did our duties easily!everyone has another ability, for example, Ceren can play tenis, G端lce can cook very well and Cem, Ceren can play instruments.

At last, Our school hall came back. I think a life without school is so boring or I am a little weird!

Many hobbies...different preferences! We like football, dance, music, photograph, manicure, make-up, drawing etc. I will score!

He will miss.

Sports in ZGZ City Pablo is sportsman, the best sportsman on Earth. He was called up by the Earth Government. He has to th participate in The 40 Galaxy Tournament to win all of the sports that we know.

The first event is about “Petanca”, a typical Spanish sport.you must throw a ball and try to get near a small red bal.

There are lots of players in this event, many of them are very old people.

Pablo is the red cap man, and he is winning right now. They call him “The Gomu Wrist”.

Finally the red scarf man won this event. Pablo was second.

The next event is a team event, basketball is the next event, this event consists in playing a minileague of 5 matches. The team which wins more matches will win the event.

The matches were very hard, but Spain won the first games winning Armenia, Greece, Turkey and more.

All sportsmen are training very hard, everyone wants to win the competition.

“And the winner is…” It was my dream, since I was a little girl. When I was 4 years old, I did my hands like a photograph machine and imitated the photograph machine‟s voice; “click“. I think, It was quite funny. I did this everytime to everyone, even the people I don‟t know. I am crazy about taking photographs, but there is one bad side of that; You can‟t be in your photos! I joined my dreams competition. The subject of photograph competition was free, and I decided to take photos of places which I love to be in.

Our School

I am a high school student. I am living in a small town, called “Balıkesir”. I spend most of my time at school. Lessons which start at 8.30 a.m. and finish at 16.05 p.m. At the weekends, I have course for taking extra support for my school lessons, so, I don‟t have enough time to take photos. On the first day of taking photographs for competition, I decided to take some school photos, because, I spend most of my time at school. On that day, we were bored and our next lesson was math. So, we made our smart board screen upside down for not letting our teacher to teach something.When our teacher came to the class and he noticed the board he became stunted to us!Anyway , it was a really hilarious moment.

After school we went to „‟Tarçın Café and Restaurant „‟ with my friends for eating something.We usually go to cafés to eat something and chat.Our town is small so there aren‟t so many places to have fun but there are a few pretty places to hang out with friends.

Zeytin Rock Café

Tarçın is one of these places .This place is so suitable for students.Tarçın is a very cheap place to eat home made food.You can feel like you are eating your mother‟s dishes when you are here.I took some photos thereand then I went to one of my favourite places „‟Zeytin Rock Café „‟ to take photos too.The most beautiful thing about this place is their music . After this long and tiring day I came back home ,I looked at the photos which I took and chose the good ones .

The next day was Saturday so I decided to meet my friends to explain my plans about the competition.Of course I took my photograph machine with me and I took some photos when I was walking.Atatürk Park is not far from the center.I met with my friends at Yay/ada Shopping Center.After meeting my friends I went to the Tennis Course named „‟Batik‟‟ .On Sunday morning I went to the course ı was so excited cos‟ the competition was soon.After the course I went to „‟Kore Café‟‟ for hanging out with my friends.

On Monday I went to school as usual.After school I went to the piano course and I took some photos in here.And then I went to the cinema with my friends.After I went to the cinema I came home and ate a delicious diner with my family .We usually watch movies wıth them but unfortunately I have to study for my lessons so we can‟t do it much in schools times.I have to put in order and send photos next day .So I went to bed early.

After I sent photos I started to wait for the competition day and it was two days later,in İzmir, the pearl city of Turkey. TWO DAYS LATER…… I am so excited .The results will be announced in a few minutes.While I am waiting for results I am making a murmuring sound to control my excitement. YES,YES !.. It is happening! Results are coming.

“And the winner is…..” Oh my God !It is my name I won the competition. It was my dream… And now my dream come true.

A USUAL BIRTHDAY IN SPAIN

David´s birthday was coming and he was very excited because his friends promised him they would organize the best party ever. He had waited for it for a whole year!

The previous day his friends went to the bakery to buy a birthday cake for him.

But unfortunately, the bakery was closed. David´s friends were desolated.

As a result, they were obligated to bake their own cake. But they made it well. It seemed to be delicious.

David was very interested in knowing which that big surprise was.

#1 But… JUST KIDDING!! Everything was in David´s mind. So when he came home, they all said hello and happy birthday to him.

They all came together and… PARTY HARD PLAYING VIDEOGAMES! The best party ever!!

But, when David was going to eat his cake, his friend had just eaten his cake! He started crying But we had a present for him. He received an English book because he likes studying and learning English. He was delighted!

Then, to celebrate that wonderful day, they went together to the park and play all the afternoon.

And his friends were very happy because David was happy too! They played like kids the whole afternoon!! :DD

One day, Begüm found a letter in front of her door. There was nobody around. She took the letter. She opened the letter and she saw a map. That was like a treasure map, also a note with map. There wa written “Pass the black waves and find the important port city.”

She called her friend, Gülce. -Hey, Something interesting hapenned to me!” -Me, too. She told to Gülce what happened. -What a interesting day! I found a box, too. -Why we don‟t g oto there? I want to some adventure. -OK. Let‟s go.

They prepeared bags. They left the Turkey with ship and arrived Tulcea.

-Oh, There is so schilly. -Really? I‟m here, too, if you see. -Let‟s have a walk. They started to search popular places to find a clue. .

-I want to do ice-skating. -OK. But i think you will fall. After ice-skating, they countinued to travel.

-Who is riding this bike? What kind of human can ride this? -I can. They lost to each other while their trip of city center. They found to each other after a while this place. They found to each other after a while this place.

-Hey, Whatâ&#x20AC;&#x;s that? -I think thatâ&#x20AC;&#x;s a kind of drink. Maybe cola. -Where did you find it? -A strange guy gave it to me. -Wait, there is something on that. -That is a clue! -Be quickly, read that.

-Up in the sky and swim the other sea. -What do you think about clue? -I think here is Croatia. -OK. Let‟s go. They arrived to Bjelovar with plane.

-What a pretty city!

After a long time…

-I‟m so tired and hungry. -We can eat something at city center. I saw a cafe. They ate something at city center. They saw a place while they were turning back. -I know you are bored, but we must look at this place either. -But that should be last. Really!

They look for clue in here and Gülce found a note. -Eureka, Eureka! I found. -You aren‟t the Archimedes. -You are really annoying, too. -OK. Can we go know? -Wait, I want to read the clue this time.

-„You should go to Athens, Greece.‟ What? That‟s all? I want to find something more complicating. -That‟s just clue, Don‟t worry. Come on, we should go. They were at ship again and they went to Greece this time.

-What a wonderful streets! There are so colorful. -I like here, too. -Why don‟t we see the city center? -Yes, yes, yes ! -Hey, Keep Calm and follow me.

-Wow, Look at the flowers! Like in Balıkesir, isn‟t it? -You‟re right. -I want to look them more. -We can‟t spend time, be quikly. -But…

They countined search to clue when look around in Athens. -Gülce, Why we sit somewhere? We should some rest. -You‟re right. I‟m so tired and if we search like this, we can‟t find anything.

They ate and rust in the city center. When they walkon the road, Begüm found a note in her bag. -Hey, there is something here. -What‟s that? -Oh God! That‟s note. Summer holiday in Croatia After a long year of school, me and my friend Vlad decided to go to visit Croatiaâ&#x20AC;Ś. so we decided to buy the airline tickets and prepare the luggage and then go to the airport. Me: Hurry, hurry!!

Vlad: Ok!...

When we flew with the plane we had a nice view of Bucharest. Me: Croatia, here we come!!!

As soon as we arrived, we decided to take the tram. I entered, but Vlad didnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t get the chance to enter, so he remained

Me and my friend Laura decided to make a trip to Spain at her highschool friend, from â&#x20AC;&#x153;Romareda School Zaragozaâ&#x20AC;?.

Spain Story

It was very beautiful. The flight with the plane was great.

Soon we arrived in Spain and we started to search the school. On the road, a man stopped us.

That nice guy asked us where is Felicidad Street.

-Perdon, no somos de aqui. (Sorry, we are not from here.) -Thank you, you are nice. -Fată, ce tip draguț! ( Girl, what a nice guy!). - Vorbiţi română? (Do you Speek Roumanian?) - Da, suntem din România. ( Yes, we are from Romania.)

After we tried to explain that we weren`t from there and we didn`t know where the Street was… we found out that the guy was Romanian.

B: - You are from Romania?! Nice. L: - Hey, I have an idea, let`s go together to find out where the hotel and the street are. - I'm Florentin, nice to meet you. - Hi, I’m Irina. - Hi, I’m Laura. And from that day they became friends and they continued to go out.

A beautiful day of summer, me and my friend Paula arrived in Armenia. We decided to take the bus and visit the beautiful capital of Armenia, named Yerevan.

Me and my best friend Paula were walking.

This old woman has very large bags! Let`s help her!

Paula offered her seat to the old woman and I took her bags and placed them at our feet.

After a few minutes, the driver had to brake, and the bags “went for a walk”..

The cabbage and the potatoes that were in the bags were now scattered across the floor of the bus.

My cabbage!! My potatoes!! Ouuuuch!! Stay where you are, don’t move!! Help! Anyone, help me find my potatoes! My bags…girls… I will kill you, girls, you are the reason for this..

After we put all the products back in bags, I noticed a potato was still near the driver.

-Sir, can you please pass me that potato? -Of course, here it is, and be careful of what you are doing from now on! -Yes, I‘ll try to do my best… -If those were eggs instead, what would you have done? I don’t know…but I’m glad that they weren’t.
