Welcome to my Benoni Defense games page! On this page I display links to my chess games in which I played either side of the Benoni Defense. The games include analysis and diagrams. I will place the actual games on separate pages listed by the opponent played. There are several variations of the Benoni Defense and I have sometimes transposed into the Benoni Defense from other openings. The typical move order goes something like this: 1. d4 Nf6 2. c4 c5 3. d5 d6

Benoni Defense after 3‌ d6.

Plans for Black usually include g6, Bg7 and 0-0. Black will then play either e6 or e5 and go for some play in the Center. I will usually play b5 and transpose into the Benko Gambit. However, there are many times in which my opponent will keep me in some variation of the Benoni Defense. arrache Denis (The Ancient Brit) Mark Tork SlowMoe
