1. Simplicity.

For this piece, I have used the word 'Simplicity'. I chose this word because I think that it relates directly to the background image in a number of ways. First, the colours used in the background are few but bold in colour. I think this reinforces how one might describe a lifestyle involving a beach and sand as a simple one. The blue sea and yellow sand compliment this theory. I used a sandy texture to colour my text as it relates to the environment. I used the font 'Impact' as I think the tightly spaced letters and rigidity of the font reinforces the message effectively. When I read the word in this font, I feel re-assured that I'm reading something with purpose and meaning. I finally added an Omni light to add realistic lighting, alongside a matte shadow effect.
