Manassas National Battlefield Park is the top-rated attraction in the area by Trip Advisor. Visitors can pick up a brochure and trail guide at
the Henry Hill Visitor Center. Interpretive programs provide context to the events around the First and Second Battles of Bull Run, while the museum features Civil War-era artifacts.
While the National Battlefield Park may be the most famous stop, the outdoor recreation options in Prince William County are as big as all outdoors.
The Prince William Forest Park protects the largest piedmont forest in the national park system and the most expansive green space in the DC Metro. With 37 miles of hiking trails, 21 miles of bicycle-accessible roads and trails, campgrounds, and cabins, recreational opportunities are endless.

Explore wetlands without the waders at Neabsco Creek. The three-quarter mile boardwalk allows visitors easy access to the tall grass and marshes that provide a rich habitat for great blue herons, wood ducks, red-winged blackbirds, and more.
The Silver Lake Regional Park in Haymarket features a 23-acre lake where fishermen cast for bluegill and largemouth bass. Leesylvania State Park in Woodbridge is a 500-acre state park on the banks of the Potomac River that features a stateof-the-art boat launch, sandy beaches, excellent bass fishing, and hiking trails.
Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge is located where the Occoquan River meets the Potomac River in Woodbridge. The refuge is a quiet escape from reality and an oasis for birds, fish, and other grassland species. Bring your binoculars and watch for over 200 species of birds and 79 species of butterflies.
Veterans Memorial Park in Woodbridge offers an outdoor Olympic-sized pool with water slides and diving boards. Visitors can also enjoy outdoor tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, sand volleyball, and horseshoe pits. And, don't forget your skateboard. Veterans offers a 7,200 squarefoot state-of-the-art skatepark featuring bumps, moguls, and a half-pipe.
After fun in the sun and on the water, cool down at The Prince William Ice Center in Woodbridge. The Ice Center is one of Northern Virginia's largest ice skating complexes with NHL-sized and Olympic-sized rinks with public skating, skate rental, a full-service pro shop, café, and an arcade.

Jiffy Lube Live, a legendary amphitheater in Bristow, has been a favorite of fans and performers since it opened in 1995. With a capacity of approximately 25,000, it combines proximity to the DC metro with easier access and a more intimate setting.
Jiffy Lube Live was a favorite of Jimmy Buffett and was the venue KISS selected to Rock the Nation Live! The 2024 schedule includes superstar acts from a wide range of genres, including Chris Stapleton, Styx and Foreigner, Limp Bizkit, Jason Aldean, and many others. Jiffy Lube Live also hosts festivals and gatherings.

Many breweries, taprooms, bars, wineries, restaurants, and even bookstores feature local musicians. Acts range from popular local solo artists and bands to national touring acts.
On the weekends, The Palace Dance and Nightclub showcases renowned DJs that include a selection of current music, as well as a stage for live music, keeping customers dancing and singing into the night. It’s just one of several venues for those with a taste for the nightlife.
The Hylton Performing Arts Center showcases local and regional arts groups and international and national artists in comedy, dance, music, and theater. Among the region’s premier cultural arts centers, the massive 102,000-square-foot state-of-the-art venue features worldclass architecture mixing contemporary elements with a classic style.

Brightworks Brewing Company (COMING SOON) is a women and veteranowned brewery specializing in small-batch brews. It is located in Manassas.
Located in Nokesville, Cedar Run Brewery uses locally sourced ingredients and provides a friendly and fun environment for customers. They offer a taproom, patio, and farm for customers to enjoy, and pets are allowed outside.
Eavesdrop Brewery Craft Beers are a unique mix of local ingredients, fresh flavors, and new twists on classic beers. It is located in Yorkshire.
Northern Virginia’s first destination brewery campus, Farm Brew LIVE at Innovation Park, located in Manassas, is a 12-acre campus featuring craft beer, craft food, and live, local music.
Located in Haymarket, The Farm Brewery at Broad Run offers 6 acres of landscaped beer gardens and a Brewbarn. The brewery serves a vast selection of ales, lagers, wines, and homemade ciders.
Haymarket’s Great Mane Brewery works to create and release excellent, well-balanced beer in a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. Quality brewed IPAs, pilsners, ales, lagers, and flagships are available, and families are welcome.
A veteran-owned brewery in Manassas, Heritage Brewing brews flavorful and bold beers that showcase pride and embolden customers to share in their dreams. In June 2022, Heritage Brewing Company was purchased by Bristow Woods Company, another veteranowned brewery.
Ornery Beer Company’s Taproom and Brewery, located in Bristow, is a 20-barrel production facility with various beers and snacks/food trucks on site on the weekends. Award-winning beers, games, and live music can be found at this modern, fun brewery taproom.
Sinistral Brewing Company in Manassas provides visitors with a gathering spot to catch up with family and friends while enjoying a selection of signature beers, rotating seasonal specialties, and experimental beers using locallysourced ingredients.
Tin Cannon Brewing Company offers new ideas to complement and contrast different flavors in beer. Fine raw ingredients are used to artfully create, craft, keg, and serve onsite in this Gainesville brewery and taproom.

At Trouvaille Brewing Company, award-winning brewers have created an upscale and cozy space in the heart of downtown Haymarket. Outdoor seating is available on patios to enjoy the warmer months.
Located in Manassas, Tucked Away Brewing Company is a veteran-owned brewery founded by beer enthusiasts who turned their passion for home brewing into a full-scale brewery. Tucked Away offers several different varieties of beers on tap and available for flights and can-pour options.
Waters End Brewery provides a fresh craft beer experience in their Potomac Mills Tap Room with plenty of creative flavors and seasonal beers. Water’s End Brewery also operates a Tap Room in Lake Ridge.
At their beautiful tasting bar in Manassas, Aroma Wine Tasting offers tastings, flights, bottles, glasses, and slushies. The tasting room is operated by Morais Vineyards & Winery, and they serve all the same wines available at the winery, as well as limited-release wines. Aroma Wine

Effingham Manor Winery is a beautiful, historic winery located in Nokesville with several picturesque buildings and landscapes to enjoy during your visit. Nokesville Winery is a small farm winery and vineyard focusing on soil-to-bottle production that strives to produce quality wines for all to enjoy. Nokesville Winery is open by reservation only, which can be made on the website beforehand.
The Winery at La Grange in Haymarket, Prince William County’s oldest established winery, is housed in an 18th-century manor house surrounded by an expansive vineyard. The vineyard and winery host wine tastings in both the barrel room and manor house.
Located on Lake Manassas in Gainesville, The Winery at Sunshine Ridge Farm is the only local winery with a breathtaking view of Lake Manassas, which can be seen from all of their rooms. Locally owned and operated, with over 20 acres of land, we have a rustic wine tasting room and an old pub-style brewery with large fireplaces.

KO Distillery in Manassas offers a variety of cocktails and high-quality craft spirits in their tasting room, as well as tours of the production facility and barrel room. The tasting room and patio are first-come, first-served, but larger groups can place reservations.
Bristow’s Murlarkey Distilled Spirits handcrafts premium award-winning spirits from the highest quality ingredients. The international competition, featuring the finest women golfers in the world, will take place in Prince William County.

Chapman's Mill, also known as Beverley Mill, is one of the most important historic properties in Prince William County. The massive 5.5-story structure, originally built in 1742, is thought to be the tallest stacked stone building in the United States. Today, though the arson left the structure a ruin, the stabilized mill walls and the mill store still stand as a reminder of the history of milling in Northern Virginia.

Lucasville School served local African-American students, grades 1 – 6. Originally built in 1885, it operated until 1926. In 2007, the school was reconstructed through a partnership with Prince William County and Pulte Homes. The school existed as the last one-room school in Prince William County that was used solely by African-American students.

The reservoir provides good fishing for largemouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and catfish.
