Members of the Cheroenhaka tribe from Southampton County, Virginia, visited Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Nov. 30, 2018, to highlight and share the history and traditions of Native Americans in the Virginia area during Native American Indian Heritage Month.

The 2018 Presidential Proclamation of the observance and celebration of the Native American heritage states, “America’s Native Americans have fortified our country with their traditions and values, making tremendous contributions to every aspect of our national life. Our nation is proud of and grateful for its Native American heritage and traditions, including a history of innovation and entrepreneurship. The essential contributions of Native Americans continue to

strengthen the American family and brighten out future together.”

During the ceremony, retired U.S. Army Lt. Col Walker D. “Red Hawk” Brown III, Cheroenhaka tribe chief, presented traditional Native American music, dance and chanting to U.S. Army Soldiers.

Brown ran through Wylie Theater, presenting a tradition to ensure peace among his tribe and the JBLE community.

“We are Iroquoian speakers and it is part of our tradition that we always send a runner when we enter someone else’s area of operations,” said Brown.

“That runner has a peace arrow, and we present that peace arrow on behalf of the tribe, however, if the peace arrow is not sent back, it means war.”

After receiving the peace arrow and learning what it meant, U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul Benenati, Training and Doctrine Command deputy chief of staff, quickly handed the arrow back

to signify that war is not desired.

Native Americans have served in the U.S. military in every war in some capacity for over 200 years. During the Civil War, over 28,000 Native Americans served and during World War II, over 44,000 served, including the Navajo code talkers, according to what site or who said?.

Throughout the multitude of wars in U.S. military history, 29 Native Americans have earned the Medal of Honor.

Another piece of Fort Eustis history

The U.S. Army Transportation Museum received a 1940 M16 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage Half-track at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Dec. 3, 2018.

The museum received the M16 Half-track from the U.S. Army Museum Support Center in Anniston, Alabama, to better tell the story of combat vehicles during World War II. “We thought this would complement the fact that we had an anti-aircraft element here,” said Mark Sammis, U.S. Army Transportation Museum curator. “Since we don’t really have anything here in the museum collection that tells that story, we thought this would be a good edition.”

The M16 Half-track was a common type of half-track used by U.S. forces during World War II, with the front wheels of the M16 Half-track used for steering, the rear rubber treads were used to travel over more difficult terrain. The back of the vehicle was mounted with a M45 Quadmount Maxson anti-aircraft weapon, however, the quad machine guns could be turned away from the sky to fire at enemy ground troops as well.

“You got four 50-caliber machine guns shooting down at you, that’s a lot of bullets going down range,” Sammis said.

While the vehicle no longer has its weaponry mounted on the back, the M16 Halftrack is still a tribute to the

anti-aircraft training facility and the more than 20,000 Soldiers it trained at Fort Eustis during World War II. “We’re trying to get a little more emphasis on Fort Eustis itself and what they did here,” said Sammis. “Both when the transportation school was here and prior to it.”

As the war continued and came to an end, the German and Japanese air forces suffered great losses, and due to that the use of anti-aircraft training began to decrease, said Sammis.

One Airman’s idea has potential to improve entire Air Force

An Airman from the 363rd Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wing stepped outside the box this spring and proposed an idea that significantly improved local mission assurance.

Thanks to a platform set up by the 363rd ISRW leadership team, he was able to pursue his idea and benefit not only the wing, but also potentially the entire Air Force.

Tech. Sgt. Ken, 363rd Intelligence Support Squadron special missions section NCO in charge, was tasked with identify-

ing ways to protect the mission of the units that comprise the wing’s Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, campus. After reviewing the wing’s current use of a tape backup system, which is used to store and backup data to physical magnetic tapes, Ken grew concerned about the potential loss of mission data stored on these tapes.

“Just because someone says you can do something doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to do something new,” said Ken. “Eliminate the tape backup system and transfer all that information into the cloud.”

To jump-start his idea, Ken submitted a proposal to the 363rd ISRW LION board, a platform for Airmen to pitch innova-

tive ideas to the wing’s leadership for possible funding. He proposed leveraging a secure commercial cloud services contract, commonly known as C2S, to transition the wing from a legacy tape backup to a cloud-based backup system.

By leveraging the C2S contract, the wing would have on-demand access to mission data.

“The write-up for his idea was so good that our wing’s O-6s, who comprise the LION Board, said we didn’t even need to hear his pitch,” said U.S. Air Force Col. Patrick Sutherland, 363rd ISRW vice commander. “We all just said, ‘Yes, that’s a

fantastic idea, and he should just get started!’”

With his leadership’s support, Ken hit the ground running. In May, he and fellow members of the 363rd ISS met with the Air Force Intelligence Community Mission Modernization Office, or M2O, to begin the process of getting a task order for C2S.

By June, the 363rd ISS had used $17,000 of squadron innovation funds to acquire a high-speed data transfer capability, which consisted of software that enables the two-way transfer of information from the wing’s shared drive at JB Langley-Eustis and the cloud. » See MISSION | 13

Army Football to honor 1st Infantry Division with ArmyNavy uniforms

Black and gold with a pop of red, the Army West Point football team’s uniform for the 119th Army-Navy game is steeped in history. From the black lions on the sleeves to the red one on the crown of the helmet and the World War I era flag on the back of the helmet, each element pays tribute to the fighting Soldiers of the 1st Infantry Division.

The 1st Infantry Division was chosen as the represented division for this year’s game due to their role as the first division to be sent to France during World War I, which ended 100 years ago this November.

The 27th Intelligence Squadron beat the 633rd Medical Group for intramural flag-football championship at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, Nov. 27, 2018.

According to U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Frank Mackay, 633rd Force Support Squadron sports program manager, each major intramural sport is culminated, in the spirit of camaraderie, with a championship game to find out which base unit reigns supreme in that respective sport.

Last year’s champions, the 633rd Medical Group, were defeated by the 27th IS who didn’t even make it to the playoffs last year.

“I don’t even think teams really thought of us (this year),” said Staff Sgt. Antonio Benjamin, 27th IS coach. “What played a big difference (to win this year) was leadership—we had a new coach Master Sgt. Masai Dafar.”

Dafar, 27th IS flight superintendent, won intramural titles at his last base and came to the team with a game plan to help win the championship.

Coupled with Dafar, Benjamin was able to transmit the motivation to win to the rest of the team.

Benjamin said he enjoyed coaching a group of players who were unselfish and listened, making it a complete team victory.

“I play softball, football and basketball,” Benjamin said.“This is my first intramural title, but not only does it feel really good to win, it was fun.”

For the 27th IS, whose Airmen work in different shops, it was an opportunity to meet one another and have fun as a squadron.

The intramural sports program helps Airmen exercise the four pillars of Comprehensive Airman Fitness to build and sustain a resilient workforce.

“You have the physical aspect with people running and exercising, but to me it’s the least important thing in the CAF,” Benjamin said. “When it comes to the pillars of CAF, the most important one in this case is the social aspect, getting people to come out here and get out of their comfort zone. You get young Airmen, sergeants and officers working together on the same level as one team.”

Following the championship game, an All-Star game between selected MVPs from Fort Eustis and Langley Air Force Base was played on Nov. 29, 2018.

In this matchup, Langley AFB defeated Fort Eustis with a score of 27 to 13 and earned the right to bring home the Commander’s Trophy.

“Bringing the Commander’s Trophy back to Langley is awesome!” said Capt. Christina Kane, 633rd FSS sustainment services flight commander. “The Commander’s Trophy initiative promotes participation in all of our sports programs. We are a joint squadron but we enjoy a little friendly competition with our sister services. The 633rd FSS applauds all athletes participating in the All-Star game, we can’t wait to see who is awarded the prestigious award next year!”

Texas Soldier donates life-saving stem cells

In the parking lot of the National Guard armory, a Soldier reaches into his glove box and carefully unfolds a letter safeguarded in the confines of his car for five months. Sitting on the edge of his passenger seat, in the late afternoon sun, he begins to read the pages once again. At first, he reads silently as if wanting to keep the special message private. Then, in little more than a whisper, he reads out loud the sentiments of a woman he has never met but whose life he would be responsible for saving.

Occasionally, he looks up to explain a bit more about the woman behind the precious missive.

While he reads, the front of the envelope can be seen addressed to ‘My Donor.’ One glance at the top of the first page, clearly written in very large print is an emphatic, ‘Thank you.

A member of the Texas Army National Guard, Spc. Akeem Martin, a 23-year-old from Houston, says he is no hero, “I am just doing what is right.” The journey to the right thing started nearly five years ago when he was an 18-year-old freshman at Central Texas College. Martin recalls, “I really didn’t think about it, we were going to lunch one day and they [Be The Match] were having a drive, giving away pizza and I signed up, they took a mouth swab and that was the last time I heard anything.” Shaking his head he continues, “then last year... I got a call from Be The Match saying that I had been matched with a person with leukemia and asking would I like to donate for them.”

Martin could have said no, but that is not in his character.

“Because I signed up for it, just like any other commitment you make, you did the paperwork

you said you were gonna do it, so...” Martin leaves the statement hanging as if the conclusion is obvious: you do what you say and say what you do; no more discussion needed. This attitude serves him well in both his military and civilian careers.

Martin has been a firefighter for two years with the South Montgomery County Fire Department.

In the Texas Army National Guard, he is a chaplain’s assistant deployed to the southwest border for Joint Task Force Guardian Support with El Paso-based, 3rd Battalion, 133rd Field Artillery Regiment. As the chaplain’s assistant he gets many opportunities to counsel service members and help on an emotional level.

“These Guardsmen have lives going on back home, and life happens every day. I am just glad I can help,” Martin says.

THE LETTER

Just before deploying, Martin received the letter. “I keep the letter in my car, it was really touching. I guess I was waiting to meet her,” he says. “I got the letter and then I came on mission a couple of weeks later. I didn’t get a chance to write her back.”

When LaShonda Goines, a cancer nurse from Houston, Texas, wrote that letter four months after being diagnosed with two different forms of cancer, she knew for certain only two things; there was a perfect ten-out-of-ten match, and without a doubt, everything was going to be okay. “I never asked for the odds of survival, I would not accept them anyways. I just knew that God was going to bring me out of this.

I knew I was going to beat it,” said Goines.

In her letter to Martin, Goines wrote, “I rejoice in the fact that God did not break the mold after he made me because he knew you were needed to help with repairs

to my body. He created you to be a perfect match to repair my malfunctions. In this journey, I have learned to appreciate life, I want to take trips and do things once my body is strong enough. I am a very religious person. Your cells are going to a good and generous person.” After reading the letter once again, Martin points to his heart and with an awkward giggle says, “this letter really hits you in the feels,” while he takes a little extra time refolding the letter. Goines conveys a similar sentiment when she learns Martin has kept the letter all these months. She responds with a voice full of emotion. “That’s got me in tears. Yes, I am surprised.

I know my son would be like, ‘I don’t know where that letter is.’ I did not know that letter was that precious to him.”

Goines closed the letter with a hope and a prayer, “I want to meet you one day. Hug you one day, whenever we can, if you

like. Be blessed my friend, my life-sharing brother.” Little did she know all that she dreamed would come to fruition, in less than a year.

The good news came over the phone just 30 days after receiving Martin’s stem cells. “I am cancer free. Hearing those words was awesome. I mean I ran through the church. I gave my testimony.

It was something, absolutely unbelievable, especially being a cancer nurse. Listening to the other patients in the holding area waiting to be seen, you hear their stories, how some of them had tried transplant and it didn’t work for them and this is maybe their second go around. But for me, this was a one-shot deal and now, I am cancer free,” Goines’ smile can be heard through the phone.

hesitation or searching for the words she would say to Martin, Goines exclaimed, “I got a new son out of this process. I want to tell him I love him and he’s an awesome human being and he needs to keep doing what he’s doing because God has bigger and better plans for him.”

The effects of this profound, life-changing match are clear, nearly 800 miles away, across the state of Texas, with one look at Martin’s cubicle inside the armory. The cubicle appears to be much like anyone’s cubicle. There are pictures of his family and another one of his fire truck, along with a cross and some obligatory notices and guidelines. There are two items quite unique and conspicuous amid the varying drab tones of tan, hanging proudly both inside and outside his partitions: two capes, one green the other blue, both emblazoned with the ‘Be The Match’ logo. Martin explains everyone gets the blue cape, but the green one is special for those donor-recipient matches that ended in saving a life.

Martin believes to care for others, you have to take yourself out of the equation.

“When it comes down to saving a life, you should not think about yourself, there’s gonna be pain, you know everything good comes with a little pain. That little bit of pain goes a long way because there is someone whose life is really counting on you. Putting in a little work and a little pain will go a long way,” he says.

Goines went from a double cancer diagnosis to being cancer free in seven months because Martin decided to be a difference and saw it through. She says, “Sign up for Be The Match. It doesn’t matter if you are black, white, Hispanic, just sign up.”

Martin says his firsthand experience doesn’t make him a hero, but did make him want to share his story. “It is really important to educate people on the ‘Be the Match’ program or any marrow donor program because it does save lives. It does make a difference,” he says.

Be The Match is a nonprofit international organization that matches stem cell and bone marrow donors with recipients inflicted with certain cancers. The matches are based, partly, on ethnicity, and more often than not the match will come from outside one’s family. To find out more visit bethematch.org.

CONTINUED FROM 10 shrugging his shoulders and says, “I was really anxious and super excited. I was just really happy to get to that point. Just seeing her and being able to say that we got to that point because she made it, she was a fighter, it was something really special.”

Goines was anxious to finally meet the young man who saved her life. “The event was awesome. They had us separated through the entire meeting until Saturday night, even when they played the video of both of us. They called me to the stage first, and they would not tell me where he was in the room. And so, to see him walk up to the stage with his mother, he just has this heroic walk. It was awesome. He has a very heroic and humble walk, he never bolstered or anything. He’s an amazing fellow.”

When asked if they attributed the success of the transplant endeavor to just science or God, they had similar, but not identical, responses. Both have careers in the medical field and strong religious beliefs. Martin holds out his hands out as if making a scale for demonstration, “I have my religious background and I work in the medical field

too. I feel like there is science and there is God, and they both work together.”

Goines praises God’s intervention, “God, this was nothing but divine intervention, divine intervention from God. Sitting in the room for 30-days doing my transplant I was crying out to God and this just shows me that God had his ear inclined to my cries.” Continuing she describes how special and lucky she felt, “I felt like I touched the hem of God’s garment and I was made whole again.”

DONORS SAVE LIVES

Few people can say they saved a life, but for Martin, saving lives is a reality, as a fireman and now as a stem cell donor. He says there is a uniquely strong bond between him and Goines, compared to other lives he has saved as a fireman. “I guess because we have such a bond now, when I met her it was like I’d known her my whole life, it was really weird. I met her sons as well and it was like we’ve been brothers forever. It was really something amazing.”

| The Army uniform for the 119th ArmyNavy game is steeped in history UNIFORMS

This work includes looking through historical documents to see if references are made the exact colors and threads used in the uniforms and also working to make sure everything being used and represented is validated and backed-up historically.

“The designer at Nike will come back to us and say, ‘I have an idea. Here is a look we can have for the game jersey or things they might want to sell in retail. Is this correct? Would they have worn this

at the time?’” Lt. Col. Channing Greene, an instructor in the Department of History, said. “The folks at Nike don’t always know what a division means or a regiment or battalion. Helping them clarify those things when they start to make a story of the uniform and produce things that surround the story, you are helping them through those tidbits.”

This year’s uniform mark the third year in a row where they were designed to honor a specific division within the Army. Two years ago, the uniform honored the 82nd Airborne Division and last year, the 10th Mountain Division was honored. Capt. James Villanueva, an as-

sistant professor in the Department of History, said they chose to highlight the 1st Infantry Division this year because of the World War I ties as well as the desire to honor a mechanized or armor division after highlighting light infantry units the past two years.

The process of selecting the division starts multiple years in advance to give Nike time to design the uniforms and craft the story around them. The next two divisions to be honored have already been selected and work has started on the designs, but even the division itself is kept in the dark about their role until a few weeks before the game.

“I think it is exciting and something we are very honored to be a part of because of the legacy of the division and how it has nested with the history of the Army.

To be a part of the Army/Navy game is just fantastic,” Maj. Gen. John S. Kolasheski, Commanding General, 1st Infantry Division, said. “This opportunity for the division to be a part of the Army/Navy game and all the honors that come with it is really a significant event for us. It honors those who have fought and served with this division and will do so in the future. It also gives us an opportunity to talk about the division.”

Elements throughout the uniform will honor the division starting with the team’s black helmets for which will feature the division’s Big Red 1 on the crown. The design is a reference to the 1st Infantry Division Soldiers who painted their helmets with their insignia on the way home from France.

Throughout the war, the division’s patches were mismatched after being hastily sown on while in France, Greene said, but in the years following their return the images on their helmets featuring the red one became iconic.

The black lions on the sleeves honor the 1st Infantry Division’s 28th Infantry unit, which became known as the Black Lions of Cantigny after leading American forces to their first victory of World War 1 at the Battle of Cantigny. The 28th Infantry will also be one of the units represented on the collars of the jerseys.

“It is a matter of working with ODIA and Nike to start collecting things that are iconic of that time that would have been representative of a uniform, what

a common Soldier would have worn, something that the unit would be representative of such as mascots or icons and you just start collecting photographs and things from that period,” Greene said of the design process. “To take a uniform for a historical period and make it into a modern looking football jersey with the elements that are on there historically and you would recognize it, we call the gal we work with at Nike pretty much a genius.”

When the Army team takes the field against Navy Saturday with the goal of winning their third straight game over the Midshipmen and claiming the Commander-in-Chief’s trophy outright, they will look to embody the spirit of the 1st

Infantry Division, whose Soldiers have fought in both world wars along with Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq.

“A hundred years ago, the 1st Infantry Division led the Allies to victory in World War I and then on Saturday, Dec. 8, 1st Infantry Division Soldiers and families will be able to cheer on the Army team to achieve victory in this historic rivalry,” Kolasheski said. “Here in the division, our motto is no mission too difficult, no sacrifice too great, but duty first.

We believe that the Army team’s mission on Dec. 8 is to beat Navy. I know that the Army team will demonstrate the same readiness and devotion to duty as our Fighting First Division.”

Chief Wright to Airmen: Know your retirement options

The opt-in deadline for the Blended Retirement System is December 31, 2018.

Make your decision knowing only you can determine which system is best for you, and understand that if you opt into BRS, it is irrevocable. You only have one chance to make this choice, so it’s imperative you and those involved in making financial decisions for your family fully understand the pros and cons of both retirement systems.

I encourage each of you to take all of the training available on ADLS and utilize the BRS comparison calculator on the Military Compensation website before making an appointment with your base financial counselor. The calculator provides a comparison between the current retirement system and the BRS. Doing your homework and preparing your questions ahead of time will help you get the most from your financial counseling appointment. I would like to see all eligible Airmen trained as soon as possible to give everyone time to really think about their options and be fully prepared before making this life-impacting decision.

If I had to pick just one thing I’m most passionate about as the chief master sergeant of the Air Force, without a doubt it would be taking care of our Airmen and their families professionally, physically, spiritually and financially. I’m a firm believer that these four things go hand in hand. In order to be the best, most resilient Airman possible, you have to balance your professional, physical, spiritual and financial wellness. This is why I’m always looking to arm our Airmen with knowledge to help them grow and make the best decisions possible in their lives.

Part of arming our Airmen with knowledge means providing them the tools necessary to understand and smartly plan their long-range financial goals. But this planning isn’t just for Airmen with families; it’s vital for all Airmen.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2018, the Department of Defense will transition to the Blended Retirement System. If you haven’t heard about BRS, you need to get up to speed

now and learn all you can. I need each of you to take an active interest in your financial planning by using every resource we’ve made available to learn about the BRS. The BRS gives Airmen an opportunity to save their money in a portable Thrift Savings Plan while receiving matching government funds at the same time. This is the most basic layman’s description of the program, which is why I need you to arm yourselves with all of the research and information available. To help you, our Air Force leaders have put together a team of experts ready to provide extensive training. Certified personal financial counselors are available at your Airman and Family Readiness Center. These experts cannot decide for you, but they can help you evaluate which retirement plan is best for you. Every Airman’s situation is different, financial goals are unique to each Airman and there is no “one size fits all” decision.

Airmen who enter the Air Force on or after Jan. 1, 2018, are automatically covered by the BRS. Active component Airmen serving now and those who enter the Air Force on or before Dec. 31, 2017, will be grandfathered under the current retirement system. Airmen with fewer than 12 years of active service on Dec. 31, 2017, or reserve component Airmen with fewer than 4,320 retirement points as of Dec. 31, 2017, have the choice to opt into the BRS. Reserve component members’ “retirement points” and retirement eligibility for the defined benefit are the same under the BRS as under the current retirement systems.

There are pros and cons to every major decision we make, and this holds true for both retirement plans. I can’t tell you what to do. I can’t tell you what’s best for your family. All I can tell you is that you need to arm yourself with knowledge. Check out the training, talk to people who can provide you with objective advice, talk to those who will be most impacted by your decision and execute your plan knowing you made the best decision for you and your family.

CONTINUED FROM 6 Just seven weeks after meeting with the M2O, the 363rd ISRW became the first Air Force entity to be awarded a task order for the secret classification level on the C2S contract.

“We’re the first ones,” said Ken. “We’re leading the way in getting out there and figuring out all the growing pains in getting access to the secure cloud environment.”

In the span of several months, Ken’s mission assurance initiative blossomed from his initial concept of a disaster recovery and data backup solution to include two more efforts: procuring a dedicated circuit for transferring data to and from the cloud environment for Langley and another location, and migrating mission applications from on-site to being hosted on the cloud network.

With the data stored in a virtual space, other groups and wings at Langley can access the data via the same circuit.

“The overarching effects of the project transition is not just disaster recovery; it’s now mission assurance for the entire wing,” Ken added. “And then, it’s not just for our wing; we’re setting up the infrastructure for any organization at Langley and at our alternate location to access cloud resources.”

The final piece of Ken’s mission assurance initiative moves mission applications used by the warfighter for target development into the cloud.

This enables warfighters around the world to access the targeting data generated by the wing. Ken worked with the M2O to open access to the cloud through the 24th Air Force change management process to ensure other Air Force customers who follow the 363rd ISRW will have fewer steps to complete to gain access.

The entire initiative has been a collaborative effort between Ken and his team, who worked with 12 different organizations ranging from the Air Force Intelligence Community M2O at Lackland Air Force Base, the Air Force intelligence community chief information officer’s office at the Pentagon and multiple organizations that

comprise the 24th and the 25th Air Force.

“This entire initiative is beyond just the 363rd ISR Wing,” said Ken. “This is beyond even Air Force ISR—this is to support the Air Force overall.”

Wing leadership echoed Ken’s sentiments. “When I think about what Tech. Sgt. Ken has done, I am so proud,” said Sutherland. “It really is a case study in the impact that one single, determined Airman can have across our Air Force when given the freedom to solve big problems.”

“Ken’s success is a fantastic exemplar of the Lion Way,” said U.S. Air Force Col. Jon Rice, 363rd ISRW commander. “We have created an entrepreneurial ecosystem to unleash audaciously innovative Airmen like Ken and pair them with resources and leadership support to solve our most challenging problems.”

Just five months after Ken voiced his idea to wing leadership, he and his team were granted an interim approval to test, a major step in making his mission assurance initiatives a reality. Ken plans to be fully-operational

by July 2019.

“People say things can’t be done,” said Ken. “I’ll turn your no into a yes.”

The 633rd Medical Group strives to provide Trusted Care to all they serve, while supporting many deployed and home-station missions. Due to contract vacancies and multiple provider deployments/permanent changes of station during the coming months, it will take longer to receive appointments and have messages returned. In light of these staffing concerns, TRICARE will temporarily enroll only Active Duty service members and their family members. This action is being taken to ensure patients receive the care they deserve within the established standards. There will be no enrollment changes or action taken to any patients who are already enrolled at the 633rd Medical Group, regardless of category. JBLE Family Child Care Program

The Joint Base Langley-Eustis Family Child Care Program is looking for child care providers interested in a professional, portable career that will allow them to stay at home and run a home-based business. Life lessons over lunch workplace study

Join the new Life Lessons over Lunch the first and third Thursdays of the month from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in the 633rd Mission Support Group Conference Room. The Langley Chapel offers this marketplace initiative where participants meet on a regular basis to view a DVD message over lunch, providing a unique opportunity for participants to enter an environment in the workplace where they can consider relevant insights around personal and professional challenges. The principles are presented from a biblical perspective but are nondenominational and open to all active-duty service members and lunch provided is free. The Air Force Reserve will host Palace Front-Palace Chase informational sessions the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 10 a.m., in the 633rd Force Support Squadron auditorium, building 15 in Wing B, room 203.
