Daily tours of Oceana offered during summer Enjoy a close-up tour of the U.S. Navy’s Master Jet Base, while riding aboard a British-style double-decker bus. The NAS Oceana base tour, includes a stop at the Aviation Historical Park to see the jets that have been proud to call NAS Oceana their home base for more than 60 years. The tour is in partnership with the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach. Tour days are Monday through Friday, through Aug. 31.The departure time is 11 a.m. and returns at 1:30 p.m.Tours depart from and return to the 24th Street Kiosk at 24th and Atlantic at the Virginia Beach oceanfront. Tickets are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon at the kiosk. Ticket prices are adults, $13; seniors (60+) and children, ages 5 -12, $10; children under 5 are free. Photo ID required for all passengers over age 16. No backpacks allowed.
