WOMEN HAVE CHANGED THE IMAGE OF REFUGEES IN THE WORLD» Р
robably, there is not a single Ukrainian woman in the world who would not talk about her indomitability and the strength of her own people. Solomiya HANUSHCHYN is a university teacher and has a strong character, which could be envied by any European woman. She shared her rules and principles of life, which, in her opinion, should be followed.
– Mrs. Solomiya, greetings! We haven’t talked to you for a long time. By what rules has your list of advice to women been updated?

– Life in constant stress has been going on for almost 1000 days. Three years of war, and now we can talk about the third stage of stress, namely chronic stress.
There is no universal list of advice, as each person is an individual. However, I want to pay attention to the fact that we are all marathon runners. Since people are social beings, it is more pleasant to share joy with others, and grief is easier to experience with someone. Seek the circle not devoting themselves to hopelessness and misery, because such surroundings only increase despair.
Mark Levy in his book “Between Heaven and Earth” offered a metaphor-game: imagine that every morning when you wake up, you are given $86,400 with the only condition being that you spend it all during the day. Unused funds will be taken from you before you go to sleep, and the game can end at any moment. Question: what would you do with the money? He described a kind of cornucopia, from which seconds are constantly flowing... Every morning, when we wake up, we receive a daily credit of 86,400 seconds. We play by a rule that cannot be circumvented – life can stop at any moment. європейка. Вона поділилася своїми думку, варто слідувати.
– Tell us, have your principles changed?
– I think not. Zero tolerance for hypocrisy, worthlessness and imitation only increased. I appreciate my loved ones even more. I enjoy both their company and time alone. I do not deviate from my value system, because it is a reliable foundation for moving forward.
– What is a Ukrainian woman like today?
– A woman is like an unrestrained fire element that can burn to ashes or be an unlimited source of heat. A woman is the guardian of the family. A person’s connection with pristine nature is maintained through her. Today, war dictates its priorities, and first on the list is the need to survive. Hundreds of articles were written about how Ukrainian women changed the image of refugees in the world. They are beautiful, well-attended, well brought up, cultured, erudite and educated. Let me summarize these characteristics in one word –independent.
– What helps you to hold on?
– We faced the five most traumatic factors for a person: war, divorce, emigration, loss of loved ones and relatives, own fatal illness. Ukrainians experience them all at the same time. Therefore, I clearly understand how important my internal resource is. Let’s recall the airline survival instructions for mothers with children: put an oxygen mask on yourself first, and then on the baby. This sequence is not random, because the child depends on the parents.
Realizing that the marathon is ongoing, and I cannot predict when it will end, I dose the activity, both physical and intellectual, and try to do more of what fills me up. We are a creative family, so we sing and draw. We dance and write according to the mood.
My husband and I have been together for 21 years. Our success story is love at first sight. There are expression, balance, trust, and a sense of safety in our relationship.
– What will be your first actions after the words: «We won!»?
– I will resume travels, because aesthetics always resonate with ethics in them on a high note to sound a powerful chord of emotional and intellectual pleasure. After the words «We won!» I will plan a half year full of new trips.
