NF Secondary IV Sets a safer way for ‘piggy-backing’ fluids.
The Aniset™ Secondary IV set has a male luer lock, that is designed to be connected to the NF injection port of the primary Aniset™ IV set.
The combined use of Needle-Free IV primary and secondary sets allow two IVs to be connected quickly and easily for administering additional fluids by volume or fluid mixture to your patient. This allows for a greater volume of fluid to be administered over extended periods of time without the need to regularly change smaller fluid containers and bags.

Using the Aniset™ UV whilst administering light sensitive liquid medications reduces the risk of molecule crystallization and drug photodegradation via an IV. Aniset™ UV tubing, Needle-Free injection sites, Drip Chamber, extension and connecting components. This provides a protective refractive barrier to light, maintaining drug potency and limpidity, and reducing the potential harmful effects that light has on drugs administered via transparent, pellucid IV sets.

All Colloids are photosensitive. (Gelatins, Dextrans & Hydroxethyl Starches (HES). To help, see the list to the right of this text to identify fluids that are also photosensitive. Always check drug label and alternative resources for photosensitive drugs.

Aniset™ L/A IV Set
2 & 4 Spike
Large Animal IV Fluid Administration Set, available with either 2 or 4 insertion spikes. Designed to deliver higher volumes of fluids to larger animal patients, particularly horses. Clear large bore tubing (4.8mm i.d.) and robust connecting components used throughout.
Anicath™ L/A
1. Long single-vented spikes - For ease of insertion and high-volume fluid flow.
2. Pre-threaded black reusable/adjustable plastic ties - Attach to appropriate slot/holes in the IV. fluid bags to give greater security.
3. Both sets have a blue shut-off C-clamp on each delivery arm - Gives you control as to how many IV fluid containers are flowing at any one time.
4. Emergency Red C-clamp - For rapid shut-off of all fluids.
5. Free 360-degree rotating pivot connector risk of tubes twisting, allowing the set to turn freely and giving the animal more freedom of movement. It also makes unravelling the line a lot easier should it occur.
6. 100mL Burette clearly marked with 1mL graduations for accurate reading - Complete with filtered air vent and injection port to fluid chamber.
7. Automatic red shut-off float disc - Helps prevent air embolisms. Also allows for accurate visual readings of fluid volumes within the burette chamber.
8. Spiral tubing - 65cm tightly coiled. Extends to 250 - 300cm when stretched. Allows the animal to move freely and walk around.
9. Blue Slide Clamp - Accessible shut-off of fluids when required.
Use in conjunction with No.10 to assist in easy rotation of control clamp.

Zero Dead Space to 60mL. Sterile individually packed three-piece construction with accurate and legible graduation markings.
