A few of you may have already used our Funny Farm Rapz bandages, Eaze-Off bandage and tape remover or our Aniset Anti-Kink IV sets… We have a lot more to offer and we hope this catalogue provides you with a broader view of our range.

In providing a short summary of our history; Millpledge is a designer, developer, and manufacturer of veterinary specific medical devices. Millpledge was established in 1976 in the UK and continues to serve over 60,000 veterinary clinics worldwide. We offer a wide range of solutions that provide an uncompromised range of value benefits and treatment outcomes to the veterinary clinic. Our product development and technical service team is made up of former technicians and animal health experts who are available to support VetStrategy clinics. The veterinary clinic continues to be a key influence towards the continual development of the range and its improvement.

Anisilk™ – Adhesive Tape

A superior strong, durable, hypoallergenic, artificial silk adhesive tape. Easily cross torn due to its pinked edge. A superior alternative to traditional cloth/cotton tapes. Incredibly soft and conforming with a clear adhesive, extremely strong, nonstringing, silk-like woven material.

Bandesive® – Superior Adhesive Bandage

Also used for securing dressings and appliances over large areas. Gives superior stretch and uniform return pressure.

Used for support or compression where required in the treatment of fractures, swollen or sprained joints and tissue traumas. Also used for securing dressings over large areas and fixation of appliances as the final layer.

A top layer bandage with improved durability of the more modern cohesive bandage. Offers extra support and compression where required.

Bandesive® elastic adhesive bandage tape comes with a guideline down the centre; this is to ensure even ½ overlap on application. Porous, water repellent material covered with a layer of adhesive, useful for holding on awkwardly positioned dressings and offers excellent durability and adhesion particularly when used under the foot or load or when immobilisation is necessary such as a Robert Jones.

Orthoband™ – Orthopaedic Padding

Very strong synthetic material for undercast and all underbandage padding uses. Ideal for interdigital padding and making doughnut rings to relieve pressure sores.

Orthoband™ padding is essential for foot bandages to pad out around the toes and pads. Can also be used to pad out dew claws if present. Extra padding is also advisable around pressure points such as the elbow and hock when used on limb bandages.

Presented individually wrapped in a printed paper sleeve in packs of 12 rolls.

Zorbopad™ – Dressing Pad

A sterile, absorbent wound dressing, with non-adherent, doublesided perforated film.

Consists of an absorbent layer of soft fleecy cellulosic and synthetic fibres, backed with a strong non-woven material cover. Lightly bonded to a polyester film on both surfaces which is evenly perforated.

Aniject™ – 3pt Disposable Syringes

Available sizes range from 1ml zero dead space – 60ml. Sterile, individually packed three-piece construction with accurate and legible graduation markings. Consists of a transparent barrel, a plunger and a rubber plunger cap which forms a better seal between the barrel and the plunger. The barrels and plungers are recyclable PP (Polypropylene), the rubber on the 3-part plungers is natural and can be recycled. Pouches are a combination of paper and recyclable PE film.

Prevents hypervolemia as your patient can only receive as much fluid or medication as you fill in the burette chamber.

Needle-free injection sites

Our safer Needle-Free (NF) injection valves allow the introduction of medication to the IV line without the use of needles, removing the incidence of needle stick injuries. Needle-Free injection valves also allow other IV accessories, extensions and secondary IV lines to be connected seamlessly without the need for needles, clamps or ancillary joining devices.

The valves are also swabable – Ensuring aseptic techniques.

The Aniset™ Secondary IV set is designed to be used with the Aniset™ Needle-Free range of IV fluid administration sets. It is connected to the needle-free male luer lock connection site of the primary Aniset™ IV set. Our safer Needle-Free (NF) injection valves allow the introduction of medication to the IV line without the use of needles, removing the incidence of needle stick injuries.
