As a community asset, Tuacahn entertains more than 285,000 patrons each year, with musicals, concerts, shopping, food, and other special events. Tuacahn is Utah’s largest professional non-profit theatre and acts as an economic engine generating an annual impact of more than $85 million. Visitors stay in hotels, dine at restaurants, and shop at retail outlets while enjoying recreational activities in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Tuacahn High School (THS) for the Performing Arts is Utah’s first public charter school, opening in 1999. THS offers an intimate college and career preparatory academic experience with a focus on the arts - music, dance, drama, musical theatre, visual arts, and technical theatre. There is no tuition for Utah residents and outof-state students pay a modest investment to attend. Combined with the Amphitheatre, there is no other high school experience comparable to Tuacahn High School.

Past credits include Sweeney Todd at Moonlight Stage Productions (Tobias Ragg), Romeo and Juliet at D.C.’s Shakespeare Theatre Company (Vocal Soloist), as well as the domestic and international tours of Beauty and the Beast (Le Fou). WHO’S WHO BEHIND THE SCENES M. SCOTT MCLEAN is an actor, songwriter, and playwright. A graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (NYC) and The National Theatre Conservatory (Denver). MICHAEL MCLEAN has released more than two dozen albums, has written, produced, and directed award-winning films and television commercials, and has annually presented his landmark Christmas production, The Forgotten Carols, based on his book, to sold-out audiences throughout the United States since 1991. He and his wife, Lynne, live in Heber Valley. SCOTT S. ANDERSON (Tuacahn Artistic Director) joined Tuacahn in 2004 and enjoys creatively shaping and leading this dynamic arts institution. He has worked for more than thirty-four years in theatre, film, radio and television. He has been involved in over 100 productions as an actor, director or producer but considers his fifteen years at Tuacahn to be one of his most satisfying challenges. Scott’s more recent directing credits include: Disney’s When You Wish, The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, Aladdin, Tarzan, Annie, Les Misérables and Peter Pan. He also wrote and directed the acclaimed motion picture The Best Two Years and more recently The Jerk Theory. He continues to work as a writer and director and is always working on new film projects. Scott attended Dixie State College and the University of Utah, where he studied Theater and Film. He is the proud father of three children and nine grandchildren. Scott hopes to shepherd more outstanding entertainment to this unique venue in the years to come. ASHLEY MARINELLI (Associate Choreographer) Originally from Poughkeepsie NY, Ashley grew up dancing and performing in New York City. She holds a BFA in Dance (and a BA in English Literature) from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. Favorite choreographic projects include Dorothy Parker: The Musical (The Producer’s Club, NYC) and special events for the Walt Disney Company, Newsies (at the Tuacahn Center for the Arts), The Donner Party Project (Denman Theatre and Dance Co.), West Side Story (at the Ogunquit Playhouse and the John W. Engeman Theater) and Toast, a new musical which had its premiere at the Barrington Playwrights Project in the summer of 2016. She currently helms her own dance company (Marinelli New Dance Theater) and produces, directs and choreographs music videos. When she is not performing or choreographing, Ashley spends her free time judging dance competitions, teaching, playing drums and generally obsessing over science fiction. BRAD SHELTON (Scenic Design) has been a part of the Tuacahn team since 2005. You might have seen some of his work on the Tuacahn Amphitheatre stage. Newsies, Mamma Mia!, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Peter Pan, Tarzan, Sister Act, Joseph...Dreamcoat, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Hairspray, Crazy for You, Aida, and Big River. Brad earned his Master’s Degree from the

While living in California he also worked for a very popular mouse, where he designed, built and maintained many new attractions and shows in the parks. DUSTIN CROSS (Costume Design) is pleased to be designing for Tuacahn for the first time. Dustin’s focus for the past two years has been creating and developing new pieces. BO TINDELL (Lighting Designer) Bo is a freelance lighting designer based out of Los Angeles and very excited to be returning to Tuacahn for his first production as lighting designer after assisting on Mamma Mia and The Hunchback of Notre Dame the last two summers. ALEXA HAMBLIN (Prop Master) grew up in St. George, and started working at Tuacahn Amphitheatre while attending Tuacahn High School for the performing arts. Alexa has also worked backstage for Odyssey Dance Theater’s Thriller for the last four years. WES HAMBLIN (Technical Director) joined Tuacahn in 2006 and brings 18 years of scenery building experience with him, most notably 8 years on the TV series Touched by an Angel. After earning a BFA from USU his career has taken him from Alaska to Florida and New York to California. He is excited to

WHO’S WHO BEHIND THE SCENES Utah University. Kevin has produced or coproduced more than 40 musicals at Tuacahn, and oversees all facets of Tuacahn operations and programs. Kevin was instrumental in the creation of Utah’s first public charter high school, Tuacahn High School for the Performing Arts, which opened its doors in 1999. Kevin lives in Ivins with his wonderful wife, Rebecca, and their children. KEVIN E. WARNICK (Chief Financial Officer/Producer) has been associated with Tuacahn since the inaugural 1995 season. Initially hired as a sound designer and engineer, Kevin began producing at Tuacahn in 1999–managing the creation and implementation of the various technical aspects of the theatre’s theatrical productions. Through the years, Kevin has also served as Tuacahn’s Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director. More recently, he assumed his current role as Chief Financial Officer. Kevin received his degree from Brigham Young University and enjoys applying his varied educational and professional background in helping Tuacahn fulfill its mission here among the red rocks of Southern Utah. Originally hailing from Ft. Worth, Texas, Kevin now resides in Ivins with his wife, Kareen, and their three children. RYAN NORTON (Associate Artistic Producer/Casting Coordinator) in his 8th season for Tuacahn’s Broadway in the Canyon productions. Last season he was the Assistant Director for Peter Pan and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. In 2013, Ryan made his Tuacahn and regional directorial debut with Tuacahn’s premiere of Disney’s Mulan. He has had the opportunity to work with some of Broadway’s biggest names such as Ann Reinking and the late Gregory Hines. Directing credits include: Into the Woods, Oliver!, Seussical the Musical, The Spitfire Grill, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast and Disney’s High School Musical.
