Perhaps you spoke the kindest words that any friend could say; Perhaps you were not there at all; just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts, We thank you so much whatever the part.

If God is Good If God is good, why ________? I filled this blank in with so many questions, then answers. Auntie, I truly know one thing: in my eyes God has created a woman who is fearfully and wonderfully made. My spirit has been blessed to have intertwined with you Auntie, for a season. I love you dearly. A house doesn’t rest on a foundation, but it rests on a woman’s shoulders. Auntie, you will forever rest softly on my heart. Your Niece, Penny

Wife, Mother, Sister & Aunt You will be remembered every single day— From the smile on your face to the things you would say. You have taken your place in heaven, right where you belong. Right up there next to Charles, your parents, Devon and my mom. We all know we need to be strong, And through our family your memory will live on. No need to fight anymore, just let go and let God. While you were here on earth you did your job. You did your part to keep the family together, That’s why you will remain in our hearts forever. It hurt all of us when you left that day. It left me broken-hearted with nothing to say. I wanted to be selfish and say please don’t leave Because I didn’t want to hurt or grieve. I know in my heart, you’re in a better place, But I swear I’m going to miss your beautiful face. I’m going to miss the talks we would have And the stories we would share that made us both laugh. As I stand here reading this, it’s hard to realize that you’re gone, But I know God just wanted you home. Rest easy, Auntie, you are loved. Towanda L.

Mother

Grandma

Though her smile is gone forever And her hand we cannot touch, We have so many memories Of the one we loved so much. Her memory is now our keepsake With which we’ll never part. God has her in his keeping, We have her in our hearts.

If flowers grow in heaven Lord, Then pick a bunch for us, And place them in our grandma’s arms And tell her they’re from us. Tell her that we love and miss her, And when she turns to smile Place a kiss upon her cheek And hold her for awhile.
