God’s Garden

God looked around his garden, And found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth, And saw your tired face. He put his arms around you, And lifted you to rest; God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain; He knew that you would never Get well on earth again. He saw the road was getting rough And hills were hard to climb, So he closed your weary eyelids, And whispered, “Peace be thine.” It broke our hearts to lose you, But you didn’t go alone, For a part of us went with you, The day God called you home.

The family of the late Robert (R.C.) Wheeler Jr., would like to acknowledge with sincere appreciation, your understanding, your prayers, and all acts of kindness shown at this time of bereavement.

Father Your life was a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. We won’t immortalize you in stars, because they fade away. We won’t remember you with a poem, for it will be forgotten one day. We will keep you safe in our hearts, so that you are with us every way. Love lives forever; It never dies, we carry it with us always. You’re always in our hearts. We love you, Dad. Your Children

From the Grandchildren I thought about it a million times and all I can ask myself is why? You were there when I scraped my knee, you were there when I needed someone here for me. Now you’re gone and I feel all alone; I look at the sky and I know you are home. You can never be replaced, and believe me when I say that God made no mistake… He needed an angel to keep our family safe. By: Kennedy Wheeler
