Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words that any friend could say, Perhaps you were not there at all; just thought of us this day. Whatever you did to console our hearts, We thank you so much, whatever the part.

Obituary
AntoineDuaneCalawaywasbornonApril20,1971tothe
union of George and LaBelle Calaway in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He received his formal education in the Milwaukee and Wauwatosa public school systems. He attended grammar school at Milwaukee Montessori School and graduated from Wauwatosa West High School. Antoine continued his education at Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design (MIAD) and later attended culinary schools in Minnesota and Chicago, Illinois. Throughout his life, Antoine attended Jehovah’s Witness gatherings where he enhanced his knowledge of Jehovah, his son Jesus Christ, and their purposes for mankind. Antoine was employed for a time at many popular restaurants in the Milwaukee area where he was able to showcase his culinary skills. He loved art and many of his creations adorn the walls of friends and family, as well as some pieces of apparel which bear his graphic artwork. Antoine also loved sports. In high school, he played basketball and football, and in later years, he and his father enjoyed being fans of basketball and football, and going out to play a few rounds of golf. He also loved to work out with his father at the gym. As well as being artistic, Antoine was also a sensitive individual. The loss of a pet was almost as devastating to him as the loss of a human friend. He did not like to hear bad news. When he acquired a friend, they were friends for life because of Antoine’s loyalty. His cousin, Rachel, was his running buddy and confidant. They liked to chide each other over who was the better cook, and they also liked to pursue other common interests. Antoine Duane Calaway was gone too soon, but will never be forgotten. He departed this life on June 2, 2016. Antoine leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, George and LaBelle Calaway; sister, Tonit Calaway (David Swanson); niece, Kyra Calaway Swanson; nephew, Calaway Swanson; three aunts, Maxine Johnson, Betty Johnson and Antoinette Northern; and a host of cousins and friends.

YouAreNotForgotten,LovedOne You are not forgotten, loved one, Nor will you ever be. As long as life and memory last, We will remember thee. We miss you now, our hearts are sore. As time goes by, we’ll miss you more. Your loving smile, your gentle face— No one can fill your vacant place.
