Benjamin Oglesby-Davis Guitar
Benjamin is a distinguished guitarist, composer, and arranger residing in New York and Atlanta. He earned his bachelor’s degree in music from Oberlin Conservatory, studying guitarist Bobby Ferrazza and saxophonist Gary Bartz, and participated in the inaugural Oberlin Sonny Rollins Jazz Ensemble. An accomplished jazz performer, Benjamin has contributed to acclaimed musical theater productions such as Five Guys Named Moe and Fela: The Musical in Atlanta, as well as Here There Be Dragons in New York. Through his music, he aims to bridge generational and cultural gaps, cultivating a communal appreciation for love and life.

A versatile connoisseur of music, Morgan is excited to make her debut at Milwaukee Rep. Her theatre journey began in 2021 and is marked by significant contributions to acclaimed productions serving as a music director, conductor and keyboardist. John Culbert Scenic Designer
John’s many lighting/scenic design credits include Northlight Theatre, Court Theatre, Goodman Theatre, TimeLine Theatre, Lookingglass Theatre Company, Writers Theatre, Victory Gardens Theater, and Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Recent productions include Marie and Rosetta (Northlight Theatre), Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and Antigone (Court Theatre) and The Lehman Trilogy (TimeLine Theatre). He has also designed for Lyric Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, Boston Lyric Opera, Singapore Rep, Opera National du Rhin, Long Wharf Theatre, Berkeley Rep, McCarter Theatre Center, and Shakespeare Theatre Company. He served as the dean of The Theatre School at DePaul University for over 20 years.
McKinley
Johnson Costume Designer
McKinley’s craftsmanship as a master-tailor/ cutter, in the Chicagoland theatre community and especially Goodman Theatre, has spanned over three decades. He has built costumes for such legendary Broadway designers as Paul Tazewell (Hamilton), Susan Hilferty (Wicked), and Catherine Zuber (Moulin Rouge). In 2016, as the production manager and cutter for local Chicago fashion designer Michael Alan Stein’s Spring Collection, his skills were on full display during New York’s Fashion Week where his handiwork was noted by critics for its fit and cut. Currently, he is researching and developing a musical with a local playwright that focuses on 1930’s Zoot Suits and the political upheaval those outfits garnered as the first protest garments to be seen in American culture.

Jared is excited to return to Milwaukee Rep after designing Songs for Nobodies, Nunsense, 2 Pianos 4 Hands, and Parental Advisory: a break beat play. Based in Chicago, his design credits include shows for STAGES Houston, Goodman Theatre, Writers Theatre, Court Theatre, Chicago Children’s Theatre, TimeLine Theatre, Children’s Theatre of Madison, MPAACT, Syracuse Stage, Pittsburgh Public Theater, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Florentine Opera. He was the lighting assistant for The Wiz Live on NBC, and has associate designed at the Kennedy Center in DC. He is an Ensemble Member with American Blues Theater and MPAACT. Rick Sims Sound Designer
Rick has composed and designed sound extensively for numerous Chicago-area theaters. Regional credits include Arena Stage, Roundhouse Theatre, Alliance Theatre, South Coast Rep, Getty Villa, Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, Arden Theatre Company, 2nd Stage, Playwrights Horizons, Actors Theatre of Louisville and Portland Playhouse. Sims won a Jeff Award for sound design for Lookingglass Theatre Company’s Moby Dick, Frankenstein, and Hepheastus, and a BTA award for Congo Square’s Brothers in the Dust. Sims also wrote the book, music and lyrics for Lookingglass Theatre Company’s Hillbilly Antigone

Mark Clements Director
Mark is an award-winning international theater director whose work has appeared in over 100 major theaters throughout Europe and the United States. He began his tenure as Artistic Director with the 2010/11 Season by bringing musicals to the mainstage, starting a tradition that is now the highlight
of every season. Mark has directed over 30 productions at Milwaukee Rep including World and American Premieres, his own adaptation of the current A Christmas Carol and all but one mainstage musical including Run Bambi Run, Titanic the Musical, West Side Story and Dreamgirls. Prior to joining Milwaukee Rep, Mark served as an Associate Artistic Director for several UK theater companies, most notably, Artistic Director for the award-winning Derby Playhouse in the UK where he directed over 40 productions. He has been nominated for an Olivier Award and several UK Theatre Awards, and has won three Barrymore Awards in Philadelphia. He created and directed the West End and UK National Tour of Soul Train. Mark is currently working with Ayad Akhtar on adapting his critically acclaimed novel American Dervish for the stage to make its World Premiere in an upcoming season. He is also co-writing The Craic, making its World Premiere in the Stackner Cabaret later this season.
Chad Bauman Executive Director
Chad joined Milwaukee Rep in 2013. Since, the theater has produced more than 130 productions, raised nearly $100 million through 3 capital campaigns, launched a new A Christmas Carol and the Jack Lewis New Play Development Program, began construction on the Associated Bank Theater Center and quadrupled net assets operating without a deficit for 11 years. Bauman has been named Top 40 under 40 by the Milwaukee Business Journal, a Champion of the Hispanic Community by the United Community Center, and a notable LGBTQ Executive and NonProfit CEO of the Year by Milwaukee BizTimes. He is a doctoral student in Organizational Leadership at UNC Chapel Hill and a graduate of Brown University’s Leadership Coaching Program, Harvard Business School’s Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management Program, and CalArt’s MFA Producing Program.
