Amir is an award-winning actor, audiobook narrator and writer. He has been seen on screen in Chicago Med, Empire, The Odd Couple, Radioflash, Tosh.0, Happy You Near, No Vows, No Cows and more. On stage he has performed at the Geffen Playhouse, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Writers Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, California Shakespeare Theatre, Pennsylvania Centre Stage, A Noise Within Theatre and many other venues across the country. Marvin Quijada TimelessMarvin (a.k.a. Silent Marvin) is an awardwinning clown and mime, as well as a graphic designer and electronic music producer and DJ. His original compositions have been heard at Ars Nova in New York, and The Kennedy Center in the production of Kid Prince & Pablo, a hip-hop play written by his cool brother. Mr. Quijada’s original silent musical, The Dream King, was produced in Chicago earlier this year with his artistic home Teatro Vista. Idris is an award winning storyteller of stage, audio, screen and page. Currently serving as Artistic Director of Seattle
Children’s Theater, Idris writes, directs, programs and /or produces relevant content for multi-generational audiences. Goodwin is the author of over 75 dynamic and diverse original plays, such as How We Got On, Hype Man: A Break Beat Play, This is Modern Art, and the groundbreaking Free Play: open source scripts for an antiracist tomorrow. Committed to access and impact, Goodwin’s work is widely produced across the country by professional, community and academic institutions alike. His storytelling prowess extends to creating original content for Nickelodeon, HBO Def Poetry, and the Discovery Channel. His first picture book, ‘Your House is Not Just A House’, is forthcoming on Clarion/Harper Collins 2024. Prior to Seattle, Goodwin served as Executive Director of The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College and StageOne Family Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky. As Board President of Theater For Young Audiences/USA and a member of the Children’s Theater Foundation Association, Goodwin champions the essential role of the performing arts in society. Jared Gooding Lighting DesignerJared is happy to be back at Milwaukee Repertory Theater after designing Nunsense, 2 Pianos 4 Hands, and Songs for Nobodies His design credits include shows for Writers Theatre, Court Theatre, Syracuse Stage, Pittsburgh Public Theater, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Bristol Riverside Theatre, STAGES Theatre Company and Florentine Opera Company. Chris LaneChris is a music producer, DJ, teacher, entrepreneur, mixing engineer, and awardwinning sound designer. Born in Baltimore, MD, now based in Atlanta, GA, Lane has served as sound designer and audio engineer for various productions across the nation in theatre, film, and major live event tours. His theatrical regional credits include work at: Alliance Theatre; Virginia Stage Company; True Colors Theatre Company; Seattle Children’s Theatre; The Old Globe; Westport Country Playhouse; George Street Playhouse; Alabama Shakespeare Festival; Geva Theatre Center; The Kennedy Center; and more. Deanie is a Wisconsin-based dramaturg and writer. For five years, she worked in literary and new play development at Milwaukee Repertory Theater. Josh K. Hart Stage ManagerJosh is delighted to return to the Milwaukee Repertory Theater team! After graduating from the University of Chicago, he moved to Milwaukee and has worked at Milwaukee Rep for five seasons as a resident, a fellow and now as a stage manager. Some of his favorite recent shows include Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Piano Men, and The Greatest Love for Whitney at Milwaukee Rep and Misery and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at Milwaukee Chamber Theatre. Annika Perez-Krikorian Assistant DirectorAnnika is a recently minted Milwaukeean by way of Seattle and NYC. She is the current Associate Artistic Producer at Milwaukee Repertory Theater, overseeing the Literary Department. She has previously worked at Playwrights Horizons, Seattle Rep, and The 5th Avenue Theatre. Mark is an award-winning international theater director whose work has appeared in over 100 major theaters throughout Europe and the United States. He began his tenure as Artistic Director with the 2010/11 Season by bringing musicals to the mainstage, starting a tradition that is now the highlight of every season. Mark has directed over 30 productions at Milwaukee Rep including World and American Premieres, his own adaptation of the current A Christmas Carol and all but one mainstage musical including Titanic the Musical, West Side Story and Dreamgirls. Prior to joining Milwaukee Rep, Mark served as an Associate Artistic Director for several UK theater companies, most notably, Artistic Director for the awardwinning Derby Playhouse in the UK where he directed over 40 productions. He has been nominated for an Olivier Award and several UK Theatre Awards, and has won three Barrymore Awards in Philadelphia. He created and directed the West End and UK National Tour of Soul Train. Mark is currently working with Ayad Akhtar on adapting his critically acclaimed novel American Dervish for the stage to make its World Premiere in an upcoming season.
Chad Bauman Executive DirectorNow in his eleventh season at Milwaukee Rep, under Chad’s guidance the theater has grown significantly from a $9M to $14M+ organization. He’s completed two capital campaigns to remodel the Stackner Cabaret, build the endowment, launch the John D. Lewis New Play Development Program, create a new A Christmas Carol and deepen the theater’s community engagement programs. He is currently stewarding the $78M campaign to build the new Associated Bank Theater Center. Previously he was the Associate Executive Director at Arena Stage in Washington, DC, where he was instrumental in opening the Mead Center for American Theater, a new 200,000 square feet performing arts complex. While at Arena, he worked on the Broadway transfers of Next to Normal (Pulitzer Prize; Tony Award), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Tony Award), and Wishful Drinking starring Carrie Fisher. Bauman is a graduate of Harvard Business School with a Master of Fine Arts in producing from the CalArts
