A PATH TO CURIOSITY Awareness platform at Campus El Manar
1-Master of Architecture
-2017-2018-
Exhausted, tired by years of one-way learning, shagged to feel manipulated by an education system based on standardization, the student inevitably sees his curiosity and motivation fade, decrease and wither. Yet an intrinsic desire for knowledge existed in each of us since our youngest age. An insatiable desire to know everything and to seek meaning for all that we do not know was flourishing in us. What if it was possible to rekindle this flame that was burning inside each of us? We try through this thesis to exploit the power of architecture to affect the soul and the mind of the user, to anticipate the student’s movements in space, to arrange a program, to determine the suitable spatial qualities in order to create a stimulating living space.
The essential goal which guides the student throughout his course towards the emancipation is to detect the illusions and to locate the unreal to finally perceive the real. The traveled path is strewn with ambuches, the vision is blurred and the perception is deceived. The idea is to start from an alleged reality, to free it from our own perception and to reveal its mysteries to finally bring it into the day’s light and reveal its truth. Like an origami with different facets and multiple interpretations that we unfold to achieve the reality, the project invites us to walk through an uneven course of illusions, where the shadow, the light and the framing affect our perception. This path is certainly misleading, but it leads us to knowledge spaces with clean and bare forms.
The route inside the project begins with a descent = The cave This thorn running through the project brings together common spaces around which knowledge spaces are arranged. Lethargy awakening Cognition

2- 4th year’s work -2016-2017-

2- 4th year’s work -2016-2017-
Reconstruction of the Boukhriss Palace using the REVIT software as part of the final project in Computer Science.
3-3rd year’s work -2015-2016-
Museum of History and Art of Psychiatry. The history of psychiatry, although neglected, has evolved in parallel to the «sane people» history. That main idea leads me to choose the neighbouring site to the museum of Bardo as the field of intervention. The entrance is from the Bardo Museum and through a long descent to the underground part of the Museum of History and Art of Psychiatry.
Genesis of the form of the Project:
The first part of the museum is intended to introduce the visitor to psychiatry through the presentation of historical documents and apparent figures of psychology along a chronological scale. The visitor is immersed in a sensory journey so he can experience a striking architectural and psychiatric experience through the spatial interpretation of psychological disorders. Symptoms of anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, temperamental disorders and obsessive-compulsive disorders are materialized through a unique spatial scenario.
3-3rd year’s work -2015-2016-
Apartment building located at Lake Tunis: Realization of the preliminary design and the Detailed Project
3- 3rd year’s work -2015-2016-
University home for students of the National School of Architecture and Urban Planning in Sidi Bou Said. The perception of time represents the main idea of this project. Indeed, this perception depends on several different factors including mood, obligations, concerns, dead-lines and the amount of information to assimilate.
These factors form a disruptive element in a regular frame, to spark different spacings and different thicknesses. The passage of time will be ÂŤmaterializedÂť through an envelope unifying the entire project. This envelope can thus offer a game of shadows and lights perceived differently by each student, to sensitize them to the space sculpture and to the light architecture both inside and outside.
