Brand Concept The concept for Certified Lova Gyal’s branding is derived from the ideas of action, identity, culture, and activity. Associations from each idea interact with each other and inform the visual elements of the brand.

Emblem Logo The Certified Lova Gyal emblem logo encapsulates the brand’s concept, featuring an explosion of vibrancy and colour that breaks out of the solid structure of the circle. Elements such as the hibiscus, Tapa patterning and colours derived from the collared lory, tie back to the cultural roots of Fiji; while the Type and art style reference an urban “west coast” influence.

Avoid these changes to the logo: • Changing the logo’s colours • Displaying the logo as an outline • Scaling the logo disproportionately • Displaying the logo in grayscale • Removing graphic elements from the logo

Palms & Hibiscus. The Palms & Hibiscus brand pattern utilizes visual elements from the logo to fill whatever space they are contained in. Usage. • The palms are always positioned above and layered underneath the hibiscus, following the logo’s style. • There should be no white/blank space either inside the pattern or on the edges. • Logo placement and/or other focal elements placed on the brand pattern should be centered on the transition between the palms & hibiscus.

Westcoast. Westcoast is used as the primary font for Certified Lova Gyal’s branding, used in the logo and decorative titling.
