LOGO

IDENTITY The AVL logo consists of a flat ribbon design with made from opposing parallelograms. The stylized “A“, “V” and “L” intertwined together in a double helix. This interconnected design represents the brand’s mission of connection.

Logo Final Version The logo of the main parent company, AVL Inc, features the main logo with a cutout of “Inc.” to remain consistent.

Logo Color Variations While the logo doesn’t change much for different applications, a circle version with a BLUE CHARCOAL background and TANGERINE stroke is to be utilized in situations where the background can only be white, and the standard logo would not be visible. The logo for AVL Inc’s subsidiaries removes the “Inc” cutout and adds in the subsidiary’s name.

BRAND COLOR

The primary color used by the brand is Blue Charcoal. To bring attention, or as an accent, Tangerine is used. Oxford Blue is used alongside Blue Charcoal in gradients or to differentiate without drawing too much attention.

Hierarchy For the sake of simplicity and minimal design, there are only two fonts in the hierarchy: Roboto Bold for titles and headings, and Encode Sans ExtraLight for body.

MEDIA

Print media follows a the standard AVL style which involves straight diagonals and the primary brand colors. Opacity is used to get a glassmorphic effect against brand imagery when it is used.

Shirt AVL apparel sticks to simplicity and uses the identifiable AVL Blue for brand recognition among its representatives.

Printed Mug The mug has been the standard promotional item globally across decades. The AVL mug sticks to the classic minimal white, highlighting the brand’s logo in the center.

Tote Bag For distribution of products and packages, an AVL bag maintains the minimal simplicity of a reputable brand featuring only the brand’s dark logo.

OUTDOOR Signage Outdoor applications of the AVL branding such as signage and advertising make use of the brands diagonal shapes and imagery to remain consistent.

MOBILE SITE The mobile website follows all of the brand guidelines with changes to sizing and spacing to ensure an easy to use and accessible exprience for current and potential clients.

WEBSITE The desktop website features a simplistic and luxurious aesthetic with a mixture of imagery, symbols and typography to create a site that is information oriented.

ELEMENTS Design elements and iconography feature an outlined stylization with rounded courners and broken lines that ease up the hard lines of the sections and overlays.

IMAGERY Imagery for AVL consists of high quality photography, overlayed with one of the primary brand colors. Product images stand on their own with transparent backgrounds and drop shadows to lift them off the page.
