Visit from Escola Miquel Bleach, Barcelona Peer Exchange with Schools, Museums and Teachers Practicing VTS in Amsterdam hosted by VTS Netherland

Visitors from Barcelona Araitz García, English teacher who has been experiencing VTS for 4 years. Lara Juanpere, primary teacher who has been experiencing VTS for 6 years. Mar Ortega, assistant principal of Miquel Blech Elementary School & 6 years’ experience in VTS.

Goals for the Visit To learn about how we implement VTS in schools and across the curriculum and how to build involvement with the local community. To network with other people practicing VTS in Amsterdam and Netherland To visits schools/museums where VTS is implemented. To share the Barcelona project and begin to think about collaboration for an Erasmus+ programme To find schools in Netherland to be part of a project for expand VTS through KA2 Eramus+

Other collaborators: Montserrat Morales psychologist and educator, visual and plastic expert and trainer in the VTS methodology. He has advised and trained the education team of the National Art Museum of Catalonia and has developed the implementation at the Miquel Bleach School in the Tandem project. He is a trainer of the team of museum educators. Esther Fuertes, historian of art, museologist and educator. Design and implement educational projects using the VTS from the Department of Education of the National Art Museum of Catalonia. Responsible for the Tandem project with the Miquel Bleach School, he has monitored the implementation of the VTS methodology in the school and collaborates with Montserrat Morales in the elaboration of the work materials of the methodology and in the training of educators of the museum.
